On the direct bubble of the Main Event, Arsen Grigoryan was forced all-in from the big blind for his last 25,000 before Denis Karakashi limped from the hijack. Patrick Kallas just called from the small blind and they went to the flop three-ways with Grigoryan all-in.
Kallas and Karakashi checked a runout of Q♣10♦8♦7♥A♣ all the way down to the river. After the floor staff and cameras arrived, the cards were turned over.
Arsen Grigoryan: J♣J♠
Denis Karakashi: 4♣2♣
Patrick Kallas: A♦8♠
Karakashi was playing the board, while Grigoryan had found pocket jacks in the big blind. However, he lost the pot to Kallas' rivered two pair with aces and eights.
Unfortunately for Grigoryan, this meant he was the bubble boy of the 2025 Mediterranean Poker Party Main Event, with the remaining 175 players all now in the money.

Sam Trickett opened the hijack and Viktor Mukhin three-bet shoved a stack of around 3,200,000. When it got back to Trickett, he called off his stack of around 2,450,000.
Sam Trickett: K♥K♦
Viktor Mukhin: A♣6♥
Trickett had the lead and just needed to fade the ace of Mukhin, who was looking to thin down the field. A flop of K♣5♣10♠ favored Trickett as he made top set, leaving Mukhin with just some backdoor draws.
Despite the turn being a club, the 10♣ wasn't what Mukhin was looking for as Trickett made a full house to lock up the pot. An 8♦ completed the board, and Trickett's stack soared to around 5,000,000.

Yuhang Chen opened from under the gun and Damir Gabdullin three-bet the cutoff. Chen then put in a four-bet and Gabdullin five-bet ripped! Chen had around 1,500,000 to start the hand and quickly called.
Yuhang Chen: A♣A♠
Damir Gabdullin: A♥4♥
Chen had the goods and Gabdullin had run right into the aces, but there were still five cards to come where anything could happen. The flop came 4♣J♣9♠, giving Gabdullin a pair of fours, but it was Chen that still held a big advantage.
An 8♣ on the turn gave Chen an unnecessary flush draw as only a four on the river would end his Main Event. A four is what Gabdullin needed, and a four is what he got as the 4♦ rolled off on the river, giving Gabdullin trips!
Chen couldn't believe it, but Gabdullin was all smiles as his stack swelled to around 6,000,000.

As the money bubble looms closer, there were two all-in and calls being played out at the same time.
First, Erdal Gulseven had his 185,000 in the middle from the cutoff and was put at risk by Wojciech Frankowski in the big blind.
Erdal Gulseven: K♥K♠
Wojciech Frankowski: K♦9♥
There was no sweat for Gulseven as the runout of Q♦3♣7♥Q♠10♣ kept his pocket kings in the lead.
Next, Hadi Khordbin had around 450,000 remaining and after he shoved, he was put at risk by Aren Bezhanyan.
Hadi Khordbin: K♠J♦
Aren Bezhanyan: K♥3♦
Khordbin had the lead and didn't win the pot outright, but also didn't lose it as the 8♥8♠9♠Q♥9♦ runout meant both players had two pair with a king-kicker, and chopped up the chips.

Alessio Isaia raised from the button and Denis Karakashi three-bet shoved to put Isaia all in from the big blind. Isaia instantly called for all of his 1,100,000 chips.
Alessio Isaia: A♠K♠
Denis Karakashi: A♣3♥
Isaia's Big Slick dominated Karakashi's inferior ace. The board ran out J♠9♣7♦4♥9♠ to keep Isaia ahead the whole way, earning him the double-up.

There was a pot of around 1,000,000 on a flop of 3♠K♠2♠ and Samantha Lake had her remaining stack of 1,030,000 in the middle and was put at risk by Yassin Mahmoud.
Samantha Lake: A♠Q♣
Yassin Mahmoud: 10♣10♠
Lake had two attempts to spike her overcards or flush draw, but only needed one as the J♠ gave her the nut flush. There was no card in the deck that could help Mahmoud as he watched the 2♣ roll off, meaning he had to cough up a chunk of chips and send them over to Lake.
