Following an under-the-gun raise to 20,000, Caner Gunes three-bet to 55,000 in middle position. Joris Ruijs then cold four-bet to 120,000 from the cutoff. The original raiser folded, but Gunes called.
The dealer spread a Q♠2♣8♣ flop, and both players checked. That prompted Gunes to take over the initiative on the 10♣ turn, leading out for 125,000, which Ruijs called.
When the Q♦ completed the board, Gunes slid a bet of 375,000 into the middle, which immediately put Ruijs into the blender. Ruijs spread all of his time extensions out in front of him, and, as he thought it through, the dealer removed them one by one. After a few had been used, Ruijs chose to save the rest and folded his hand.
Gunes flipped over his A♣J♦, showing just ace-high, and Ruijs tapped the table in appreciation of the bluff.
