Deardorff Gets Paid on the River

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Kristen Deardorff and an opponent built a pot of around 20,000 as they went heads-up to the turn on a board of 5QA2. Both players then checked and the 10 fell on the river.

Deardorff then led out for 12,000 from the small blind and her opponent quickly called on the button. Deardorff showed KJ for a rivered straight and the button mucked A9.

Alikhani Picks Off Seif

Mark Seif bet 6,000 from the button on a flop of AK4 and Abbas Alikhani called in the small blind.

The turn was the Q and Seif bet another 13,000. Alikhani again called and the 6 fell on the river. Seif then bet 30,000, enough to put Alikhani all in.

Alikhani took his time before calling for 25,500 as Seif showed 77. Alikhani turned over A10 for a pair of aces to win the pot and double up.

Michael Harris bet 3,000 from the hijack on a flop of J610 and the button called. Jose Catela then moved all in for 32,100 in early position, Harris reshoved, and the button got out of the way.

Catela had top pair and needed to dodge Harris' straight draw. The 5 turn was safe, while the river was the 4 and Catela doubled up.

Uhlin Plays It Slow in Three-Way Pot

Three players went to a flop of 776 where the under-the-gun player bet 2,500. The button called, as did Dil Uhlin in the big blind.

All three players checked the 2 turn. The 9 river was again checked down and Uhlin showed Q8 for a flush to win the pot, building his stack up to around 150,000.

Four players went to a turn on a board of K83Q when Olukayode Banjoko bet 6,000 from the big blind. Only Andrew Duffy called in early position.

The river was the 4 and Banjoko moved all in. Duffy tossed in his last 10,000 and turned over Q10 for a pair of queens, but Banjoko had K7 for a pair of kings to win the pot and send Duffy to the rail.
