Smith found some help on the 7♥2♥Q♦ flop but was unable to improve as the board ran out 6♥, 5♦ to end his tournament run.
Cary Katz opened to 40,000 in the hijack and Thomas Boivin three-bet to 120,000 on the button. Katz called.
Katz checked on the flop of A♥K♦2♦ and Boivin continued for 75,000. Katz called. Both players then checked on the J♣ turn.
Both players checked again on the 2♣ river and Katz showed J♦9♦ to win the pot with a a pair of jacks.
Dan Smith raised to 40,000 in the hijack and Nick Petrangelo flatted on the button.
The flop came 5♣3♣5♦, Smith bet 35,000 and Petrangelo called. Both players checked on the J♣ turn.
On the 8♠ river, Smith bet 60,000 and Petrangelo moved all in to put Smith at risk who had just under 200,000 back.
"Show it," said Smith as he quickly folded his hand.
"I might have been able to call I guess," replied Petrangelo.
Bryn Kenney opened to 45,000 in the cutoff and Stephen Chidwick called in the big blind.
Chidwick checked on the flop of 6♣Q♣A♠ and Kenney continued for 25,000. Chidwick called. Both players then checked on the 10♣ turn.
Chidwick led out for 35,000 on the Q♥ river and Kenney laid it down.
Nick Petrangelo raised to 40,000 in the hijack and Dan Smith three-bet jammed in the big blind for 275,000 to put himself at risk. Petrangelo quickly called.

The dealer put out a monotone flop of 8♦7♦4♦, increasing the chances of a chop given that neither player had a diamond.
The turn fell the 9♦, putting out the fourth diamond and the river landed the 3♦, for a flush on the board to split the pot.
Nick Petrangelo open-jammed in the small blind for 280,000 and Cary Katz called in the big blind with a bigger stack.

The flop landed K♣10♠4♥ to take away Petrangelo's jack outs, but he didn't need them as the board finished out 6♥2♣ to pair his six for a double.
"Thanks for the money, baby," Petrangelo said to Katz.

The flop came A♥3♠4♣ and Kenney check-called a bet of 15,000 from Boivin.
On the 4♠ turn, Kenney check-called again, this time for 50,000.
The 7♠ landed on the river and Kenney checked once more. Boivin elected to check back and mucked his hand when Kenney tabled A♠7♥ for two pair, aces and sevens.
