Level 11 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Stephen Chidwick
Stephen Chidwick

Cary Katz opened from under the gun and Stephen Chidwick called in the cutoff.

Katz checked on the flop of 3108 and Chidwick bet 13,000. Katz called. Katz checked again on the K turn and Chidwick sized up to 65,000. Katz again called.

Katz checked once more on the 2 river and Chidwick took some time before checking back.

"I was going to f***ing snap-call you," Katz said as he proudly tabled AK for top pair. But he was crushed by Chidwick, who then revealed 33 for a flopped set.

"How am I still in the tournament?" Katz said as he looked at his remaining chips.

Haxton Goes for All of It

Level 11 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Action went three-ways to a flop of 92K in a hand between the under-the-gun Ben Tollerene, Dan Smith in the cutoff, and Isaac Haxton in the big blind.

Haxton checked, Tollerene bet 20,000, Smith called, and Haxton raised to 55,000. Tollerene then reraised to 100,000, prompting Smith to fold and Haxton to stick around.

On the Q turn, Haxton checked and Tollerene continued with a bet of 75,000. Haxton then announced all in to put Tollerene at risk who had 217,000 behind.

Clearly faced with a tough decision, Tollerene took some time to think before tossing his cards into the muck.

Cary Katz lost three consecutive hands starting when he min-raised in the small blind and check-folded the flop to a bet from Bryn Kenney in the big blind. The next hand, Katz again raised to 20,000 on the button and folded as Kenney three-bet to 90,000 before showing AK.

The next hand, Ben Tollerene opened to 23,000 in the hijack and Katz called in the cutoff as Dan Smith defended his big blind.

Smith checked on the flop of 10J9 and Tollerene continued for 21,000. Katz called it "maybe the scariest flop I've ever seen" and called and Smith folded. Tollerene then bet 30,000 on the 8 turn and Katz proclaimed he was the "worst player ever" before folding AA face-up.
