Michael Gathy raised to 2,500 from under the gun and was called by Isaac Haxton in the small blind and Thomas Boivin in the big blind.
The flop came 9♠4♥6♦ and it checked over to Gathy who continued with a bet of 5,000. Only Boivin called.
The turn landed the Q♠ and Boivin check-folded when Gathy sized up with a bet of 25,000.
Leon Sturm opened to 2,500 in the hijack and Stephen Chidwick defended in the big blind, leading his young German opponent to assume fighting position by lowering his mirrored sunglasses and raising his tie-die neck gaiter.
Chidwick checked on the flop of 4♠J♣5♥ and Sturm continued for 3,500. Chidwick called. Both players then checked on the 2♦ turn.
Chidwick led out for 3,500 on the Q♥ river and Sturm laid it down.
Byron Kaverman raised to 2,500 from under the gun and Dan Smith three-bet to 11,000 in the small blind. Kaverman made the call.
The flop of K♠J♣2♣ went check-check, bringing the 7♣ turn. Smith bet 8,000 and Kaverman thought for a brief moment before surrendering his hand.
Action picked up on the flop of 6♣6♦7♦ in a hand between Jason Koon in the small blind and Michael Gathy on the button. Koon check-called a bet of 2,500 from Gathy, bringing the 2♦ turn.
Both players checked to the 8♦ river, bringing the fourth diamond on the board. Koon led out for 4,000 and Gathy bumped it up to 20,000. Koon thought for a moment and made it 55,000 to go.
After thinking through his decision, Gathy tossed his cards into the muck and the pot was pushed Koon's way.
Andrew Lichtenberger opened on the button and Dan Smith three-bet to 14,000 in the small blind. Lichtenberger called.
Smith continued for 10,000 on the 3♠K♥K♦ flop and Lichtenberger laid it down.
Sam Soverel opened to 2,500 in the cutoff and Thomas Boivin called in the small blind before Michael Gathy three-bet to 12,500 in the big blind. Soverel shrugged and called while Boivin folded.
"I feel disrespected," said Soverel.
"It isn't personal," replied Boivin.
Both players checked on the 9♣8♦7♣ flop and again on the 8♠ turn. Gathy checked once more on the 6♠ river and Soverel bet 28,000. Gathy folded.
Ben Tollerene raised to 3,000 on the button and Leon Sturm defended in the big blind.
The flop came 4♣K♠7♣ and Sturm check-calleda bet of 5,500 from Tollerene.
The turn landed the 5♣ and Sturm checked again. Tollerene continued with a bet of 11,500 and Sturm gave up his hand.
