PokerNews MSPT Podcast host Kyna England opened to 700 in the cutoff and Frederic Normand, who England introduced to PokerNews as "Freddy From Canada," three-bet to 2,500 on the button.

"I'm going to fold this once," England said as she showed Normand 9♠8♠. The next hand, England opened again and again faced a three-bet from Normand.

"Now it's a story! Twice in a row!" a player commented.

"Yeah, 'Freddy From Canada Picks on Kyna,'" said England as she folded.

Lucy Lamperouge raised to 700 under the gun and the player in the hijack three-bet to 1,800. Lamperouge made the call and the flop came Q♠6♥7♠.

Lamperouge check-raised to 1,000 over the hijack's bet of 400 and the hijack called, bringing the 3♣ turn.

Lamperouge bet enough to put the hijack all in who had about 4,500 behind and the hijack quickly called.

Hijack: A♠A♣ All in
Lucy Lamperouge: 7♣6♣

The river landed the J♠ and Lamperouge's two pair held up to send the hijack packing.

In a heads-up pot on a board of J♦A♦10♥, Rania Nasreddine checked and Michael Gathy bet. Nasreddine called.

Nasreddine checked again on the 4♠ turn and Gathy bet to 3,500. "I was going to call two, but not three," Nasreddine said before folding.

"Good to know," replied Gathy.

Jen Shahade raised to 800 in the cutoff and Breno Campelo three-bet to 2,200 on the button. Shahade made the call.

The flop came 4♥A♥2♠ and Shahade check-called a bet of 1,400 from Campelo, bringing the 9♣ turn.

Both players checked to the Q♠ river where Shahade led out with a bet of 4,500.

Campelo made the call and mucked his cards when Shahade tabled A♦J♦ for a pair of aces.

With over 4,000 in the middle both players checked to the 4♣ turn where they checked again.

On the K♦ river, Zobian bet 1,700 and Nasreddine raised to 4,000, prompting Zobian to quickly muck his hand.
