Weng Meets His Schumacher

In a heads-up pot, Bin Weng bet 1,500 on the flop of QK10 and Johan Schumacher raised all in.

Weng folded to hang onto his remaining 7,000 and revealed he had ace-three offsuit as he got some words of support from Chance Kornuth.

"F*** this guy!" Kornuth said about Schumacher.

Action went heads-up to a flop of 3K8 in a hand between Tim Reilly in the small blind and Erik Lemarquand in the big blind.

Both players checked to the 3 turn where Reilly check-called a bet of 200 from Lemarquand.

The river fell the 10 and both players checked. Lemarquand tabled 22 for two pair, treys and deuces, besting the Q9 of Reilly.

Lambrecht Puts Burlacu in Tough Spot

Claudiu Burlacu raised to 500 under the gun, Matthew Lambrecht flatted in the cutoff, and the player in the big blind came along for the ride.

The flop came 1029, and it checked to Burlacu who bet 1,000. Only Lambrecht continued to the 7 turn.

Both players checked and the river landed the J. Burlacu led out for 1,900 and Lambrecht bumped it up to 7,500, prompting Burlacu to go into the tank.

After taking some time to think through his decision, Burlacu eventually gave up his hand.

The flop came 93Q and Mendoza check-called a bet of 400 from Park.

The turn fell the 2 and Mendoza check-called again, this time for 1,000.

On the K river, Mendoza check-called once more when Park bet 2,500.

Park tabled KK for a set of kings and Mendoza mucked.

On a board of 6QJ7 with several thousand already in the middle, Weng checked in the small blind and Kornuth bet 8,500 from the cutoff. Schumacher folded in on the button and Weng also folded, leading Kornuth to table K6 for bottom pair.

"Dancing in the moonlight..." Kornuth began to sing as Weng told the table he folded ace-king.
