Queen Has Reasons For Optimism

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Michael Wang raised to 4,000 in early position, Alexander Queen moved all in for 25,000 in middle position, and Wang called.

Alexander Queen: 99 All in

The Q109 flop gave Wang top pair, but Queen had made a set. "I feel pretty confident about this one," Queen said heading to the turn, which came the 9.

"How about now?" the dealer asked him as Queen improved to quads. The river was the 4 and he took in the double up.

Table Has a Read on Gunness

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Paul Gunness and Michael Rossitto built a pot of around 50,000 as they went heads-up to the 425 flop. Rossito then bet 10,000 from the button, and Gunness called in the cutoff.

Both players checked down the Q turn and J river, and Gunness showed 88.

"That's the exact hand I put you on," tablemate Lucy Lamperouge said.

"That's why you're the best player left. You're always right," Gunness replied while raking in the pot.

"That's what I put you on, too. You have a tell," Matthew Lambrecht added with a tinge of sarcasm.
