The Randomizer Fails Leonard

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Patrick Leonard
Patrick Leonard

A completed board of QJ565 was spread across the felt with around 200,000 chips in the pot already. Patrick Leonard checked from early position and Joshua Mammen announced all in on the button.

Leonard asked for a count but it was his own stack that would be at risk for around 150,000. Leonard used multiple time banks before finally choosing to randomize.

"If the ladies' clock says between four and nine, then I'm calling," he said out loud before turning his head to see that it was the number seven. Leonard instantly dropped in some chips to call.

Mammen rolled over AA for the best two pair and Leonard was left with AK for just ace-high.

Yaginuma Survives a Flip Against Ferraro

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Jesse Yaginuma
Jesse Yaginuma

Jesse Yaginuma raised to 16,000 in the cutoff before Cole Ferraro three-bet to 40,000 on the button. Yaginuma then moved all in for 307,000, and Ferraro snap-called.

Jesse Yaginuma: 99 All in
Cole Ferraro: AK

Yaginuma didn't have to sweat out the flip for long, as the 922 flop gave him a full house and left Ferraro drawing only to running cards. The rest of the board ran out J8 and Yaginuma doubled up, leaving Ferraro on a short stack.

Deng Fires Three Shells on Lewis

Level 18 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Clemen Deng just limped in from the small blind which allowed Toby Lewis to check his option in the big blind. The flop came Q73 and Deng led out with a bet of 16,000 which Lewis called.

The turn brought the Q and Deng dropped in another bet of 30,000. Lewis still called and the A landed on the river. Deng slid forward a bet of 125,000 which put Lewis in the tank for a minute before he released his cards to the muck.

Jacob Mendelsohn
Jacob Mendelsohn

Jacob Mendelsohn raised to 16,000 in middle position and Ekrem Bozkurt three-bet to 40,000 in the hijack. Mendelsohn then moved all in, and Bozkurt snap-called.

Jacob Mendelsohn: AK All in
Ekrem Bozkurt: AA

It was another ace-king against aces cooler, but this time Mendelsohn was the one who had run into Bozkurt's aces. He picked up a pair on the K66, but he improved no further on the 10 turn and 3 river.

The stacks were counted down and Bozkurt had Mendelsohn's 307,000 covered by just 3,000, sending his opponent to the rail.
