Toby Lewis opened to 30,000 in middle position and Thomas Boivin three-bet to 90,000 on the button. Lewis called and they went heads-up to a flop of K♠5♥5♣.

Lewis checked to Boivin who continued with a bet of 80,000 and Lewis called. The turn was the 5♠ and Lewis check-called another bet of 160,000 from Boivin.

The 3♠ completed the board and Lewis checked for the third time. Boivin announced all in and Lewis called off his stack of 385,000. Boivin turned over A♥A♣ for the best hand as the 9♣9♦ was revealed after Lewis walked away from the table.

Boivin Wins Another Big One; Riess Falls to Yaginuma

In a blind versus blind battle, Thomas Boivin bet 100,000 on a board of J♥5♥9♦4♣ and Baurzhan Akimov called.

The river was the 7♣ and Boivin bet another 400,000. Akimov took a minute before calling once more, and Boivin showed 5♠5♦ for a set to win the pot.

At another table, Ryan Riess was all in for his last 50,000 from middle position and Jesse Yaginuma called in the big blind.

Porrello Fills Up to Bust Burlacu

Robert Burlacu raised to 30,000 under the gun and Katherine Porrello moved all in from the big blind. Burlacu was well covered by Porrello but still waited for the dealer to count out her stack before he called for his last 300,000.

Burlacu hit top pair on the Q♣10♦9♦ flop, but Porrello spiked a set to leave Burlacu drawing thin. He was drawing dead after the 3♠ turn, while the Q♥ fell on the river to improve Porrello to a full house and secure the knockout.

Green Catches Runner-Runner on Berk; Walsh Has a Sweat Against Gusmao

Michael Berk raised to 30,000 in the hijack and Richard Green called on the button, as did Pedro Gusmao in the big blind.

Action checked to Green on the A♦3♥2♣ flop and he bet 35,000. Only Berk called and they both checked the K♣ turn.

Berk then led out for 20,000 on the Q♣ river, and Green called. Berk showed A♥10♦ for top pair, but Green had K♠Q♦ for running two pair to win the pot.

A few hands later at this table, Michael Walsh moved all in for 325,000 from the small blind and Gusmao called on the button.

Kai Nicholls raised to 25,000 under the gun and Thomas Boivin called in middle position. Mike Vanier then reraised to 203,000 in the cutoff and Nicholls called, while Boivin got out of the way.

Nicholls turned over 7♣7♥ thinking that Vanier was all in, but Vanier showed he still had one 1,000 chip left. The flop came 7♦2♠6♠ and Nicholls moved all in. Vanier, despite knowing that Nicholls had hit top set, called off with A♠K♣.

The 8♣ turn left Vanier drawing dead, while the 4♥ completed the board on the river and sent Vanier to the rail.

The flop came 9♦6♣2♣ and Yaginuma bet 30,000. Riess called to the Q♦ turn, where Yaginuma moved all in. Riess quickly folded.

A few hands later, Chad Lipton moved all in for 150,000 in the hijack and Yaginuma called in middle position.

Akbarpoor Flushes Out Shorr in Brutal Fashion

Shannon Shorr opened to 24,000 in middle position and Abdullah Akbarpoor three-bet to 85,000 on the button. Shorr responded with a four-bet to 500,000 and Akbarpoor ripped all in for slightly more. Shorr waited a few seconds before calling off his last few chips and the cards were tabled.

Shorr reached for his chips to pull them back as the flop of 8♥5♠3♠ hit the felt. The K♠ on the turn made things sweaty as Akbarpoor picked up a flush draw. It was the 2♠ on the river that completed his flush and Shorr was forced to the exit.

"Yes!!!" Akbarpoor shouted as he rose from his seat and slammed his fist on the table.
