The "I Want to See" Game

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Table 8 has been playing a game all day where each player is allowed a one-time "I Want to See" pass, which allows them to see an opponent's hand when requested. It is a good way to gather information, but the players only have one request. That said, they're waiting for the right opportunity.

David Paredes thought the opportunity was right after he folded to Joe Hachem's 80,000 river bet on a {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Clubs} board. Hachem obliged and showed {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}.

Shortly thereafter, Alex Kamberis raised to 38,000 from the hijack only to have Taylor von Kriegenbergh reraised to 85,000 on the button. Kamberis decided to fold while deciding to use his one-time pass. Von Kriegenbergh showed {A-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}.

David Baker Eliminated in 17th Place ($11,500)

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
David Baker - 17th place
David Baker - 17th place

From the cutoff seat, David Baker moved all in for 205,000 after action folded over to him. Taylor von Kriegenbergh reraised all in from the button and knocked out the two blinds from the hand. He held the {A-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and was up against the {K-Spades}{J-Diamonds} for Baker.

Von Kriegenbergh went on to flop an ace on the {A-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop. From there, the turn was the {5-Clubs} and the river the {K-Clubs} to eliminate Baker.

Von Kriegenbergh is over two million in chips now.

Ausmus Flushes Ramdin

On the final board of {8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{A-Spades}, Jeremy Ausmus fired a bet of 95,000. Victor Ramdin tanked for a bit and then made the call. He wasn't happy with what he saw as Ausmus tabled the {9-Spades}{5-Spades} for a rivered flush. Ramdin said he made aces up on the river.

Good Day for Leskowitz

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 1,000 ante
Brian Leskowitz
Brian Leskowitz

Just before the break, Jaime Kaplan put in a standard preflop raise only to face a reraise from Bryan Leskowitz. Action folded back to Kaplan and he pushed back with an all-in shove. Leskowitz snap-called for his tournament life, which was a total of 396,000 chips, and the cards were turned up:

Kaplan: {K-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}
Leskowitz: {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}

Kaplan had picked a bad spot and couldn't improve as the board ran out {10-Clubs}{3-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{9-Hearts}. He was crippled after the hand being left with less than 200,000. Meanwhile, it has been a good start to the day for Leskowitz, who is up to 900,000 after starting with less than 300,000.
