Ahmad's Jack Good at Showdown

Level 1 : Blinds 1,000/1,000, 1,000 ante

Mehmet Biskin opened the button to 2,000 and then called a three-bet from Ali Ahmad of 7,000 in the big blind.

They saw a flop of QJ7, where Ahmad continued for 5,000 and Biskin called to see the 5 turn. Again Ahmad bet, this time for 6,500, but Biskin turned aggressive with a raise to 20,000. Ahmad called.

The K river checked through and Ahmad's pair of jacks with AJ was good for the pot.

Level 1 : Blinds 1,000/1,000, 1,000 ante
Aleksandr Chernikov
Aleksandr Chernikov

Jesse Lonis scored an early double-up and eliminated Aleksandr Chernikov in the process.

The hand was recalled where Thomas Santerne opened, Lonis called from late position, and Chernikov defended his big blind.

On the Kx9x2x flop, Chernikov and Santerne checked, Lonis bet 6,000, which only Chernikov called to the 6x turn, where he checked it over again. Lonis then fired out 29,000, Chernikov shoved, and Lonis quickly called.

Aleksandr Chernikov: 6x2x
Jesse Lonis: 9x9x

Chernikov was drawing dead, which meant he was out and Lonis' stack hit 500,000 in the early goings. Fear not though, Chernikov fans, he is back in with a fresh stack of 250,000.

Jesse Lonis took his seat and won a pot quickly after.

Aren Bezhanyan opened from middle position to 2,500 and Thomas Santerne called in the small blind. Jesse Lonis also came long from the big blind.

All three checked the Q2Q flop and when it got to Lonis on the 4 turn, he fired 6,500. That was enough to get the job done as both of his opponents quickly folded.

On the other table, there were 7,000 in the middle on a 10J9 flop when it checked to Ali Ahmad on the button, who bet 9,000. Dejan Kaladjurdjevic called from the big blind, and Mehmet Biskin, folded the hijack.

When the 10 hit the turn, Kaladjurdjevic checked and then folded when Ahmad bet 15,000. Ahmad then showed 87 for a flopped straight as he reeled in a pot.
