Pateychuk Back In and Fighting For Pots

Level 3 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

With around 30,000 in the middle on a 3J639 board, Thomas Santerne had bet 20,5000 from the big blind and Andrey Pateychuk made it 152,500. Santerne was in the tank for some time, but in the end he decided to let it go, and Pateychuk raked in the chips.

Felipe Ketzer is on the same table and has around 300,000 to work with, as is the 2019 WSOP Main Event Champion Hossein Ensan, who has around 275,000.

Huang Four-Flushed By "Kenar"

Level 3 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Vincent Huang
Vincent Huang

A hand that saw "Kenar" double up earlier was just recalled by the table.

Felipe Ketzer opened to 4,000 and "Kenar" called in the small blind before Vincent Huang three-bet to 28,000 out of the big blind. Ketzer called, then "Kenar" shoved for 250,000. Huang called, and Ketzer showed pocket tens before he mucked.

Vincent Huang: QQ All in
"Kenar": A10

Huang was in a great spot to double up, especially with two tens already being mucked. However, the K4J83 runout meant "Kenar" backdoored a flush, sending Huang to the rail.

Huang did hop right back in, though, and has 250,000 to work with.

Gortikov Gets a Full Double Through Biskin

Level 3 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Aleksei Gortikov
Aleksei Gortikov

Aleksei Gortikov opened the hijack and Mehmet Biskin called on the button before Christopher Puetz three-bet to 23,000 out of the small blind. Both Gortikov and Biskin called.

The flop came 336 and Puetz continued for 18,000, only for Gortikov to raise to 55,000. Biskin called, and Puetz took some time before he folded.

On the 10 turn, Gortikov bet 94,000 and Biskin shoved. Gortikov had around 80,000 behind and took a few seconds before he called.

Mehmet Biskin: 99

Biskin needed to find a nine, but instead it was Gortikov who improved as the Q river gave him top boat.

Lonis Flops a Queen Against Chernikov

Level 2 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Aleksandr Chernikov opened from under the gun to 3,500 and Aren Bezhanyan called in the small blind. Jesse Lonis also called from the big blind.

They saw a flop of 9Q6, where it checked to Chernikov, who threw out 7,000. Bezhanyan folded, but Lonis called to see the 7 drop on the turn. Lonis checked, Chernikov bet 11,000, and Lonis called.

An A on the river slowed things down as both players checked, and Lonis' pair of queens with Q3 was good for the pot.

Dream Start for "Kenar"; Not So Much for Pateychuk

Level 2 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Andrey Pateychuk
Andrey Pateychuk

It's been a fantastic start for "Kenar", who has built up a stack of around 750,000 so far!

He just played a hand where he opened to 4,000 on the button and Andrey Pateychuk made it 24,000 to go from the small blind. "Kenar" then four-bet to 55,000, which Pateychuk called.

The flop came 9J3 and once Pateychuk checked it over, "Kenar" fired out 65,000. Pateychuk put all of his time banks into the middle and burned through three of them before he shoved for around 200,000, which "Kenar" snap-called.

Andrey Pateychuk: 87 All in
"Kenar": AA

Pateychuk had a combo draw, and one that he needed to hit in order to double up. The 5 on the turn added another straight draw for Pateychuk, but the 4 river bricked out, leaving him on the sidelines.

Kolev Gets a Shove Through on Velasevic

Level 2 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

A pot of around 75,000 had brewed between Boris Kolev and Danilo Velasevic on a board of 2J57.

Kolev was under the gun and bet 58,000, which Velasevic called from the button to see the K fall on the river. After a brief pause, Kolev shoved around 140,000, which is about what Velasevic had left in his stack.

After rechecked his cards and shuffling them around a little, Velasevic laid it down, and Kolev took the pot.
