Aerts Loses to Ladev's Two Pair

Markkos Ladev raised under the gun to 480,000 and only Pieter Aerts called from the big blind.

Aerts checked after the dealer fanned out the QJ10 flop, and Ladev fired out for 500,000. Aerts continued in the form of a call.

A 9 on the turn checked through as did the 6 to complete the board. Aerts turned over top pair with Q3, but was second best to Ladev's J9 for two pair.

Pitavy Four-Bet Shoves on Aerts

Aerts quickly folded A8, and Pitavy took the pot.

The next hand, Aerts opened to 480,000 in the cutoff with Q9 before Pitavy woke up with AK in the big blind. He three-bet to 1,600,000, and Aerts again gave up his hand.

Then, with A7, Yong raised the button to 500,000 and Markkos Ladev called from the big blind with 108.

Check, check came after the 93J flop and the Q came on the turn. Ladev bet 850,000 and Yong tossed his cards away.

Aerts opened to 480,000 in the hijack the next hand, but this time Pitavy moved all in for 4,470,000 in the small blind with KJ. Aerts folded A4.

Ladev led out for 250,000 on the Q38 flop and Bellande called. The turn was the 8 and Ladev checked to Bellande, who bet 800,000. Ladev called.

The Q river improved Ladev to a full house, and he moved all in for 2,685,000. Bellande quickly folded.

Pitavy looked poised to be the next customer to the payout desk, but the 24J changed those chances as he hit a jack to take the lead.

Bellande was ahead with his pair of nines, and the AQ284 board proved safe for him to secure the double up.

"It would'be been fitting if you put me away," Bellande said to Aerts as he raked in the pot.

"The media guys asked me, if I win the $1.5 million, what are you going to do with the money? I said, pay off some debts. Then they asked me, what are you going to do with the rest? Well, those guys will just have to wait," Bellande added.

Aerts Gets Pitavy to Fold a Pair
