Bellande Gets Away on the Turn

Jean-Robert Bellande raised to 400,000 in the cutoff and Rob Yong defended 6♥5♥.

The flop came 10♠5♣2♣ and Bellande bet 400,000. Yong called with a pair of fives, and the 6♦ turn improved him to two pair.

Bellande then bet another 1,200,000, but this time Yong moved all in. Bellande leaned back and took a few swigs from his wine glass before sliding A♦10♥ into the muck.

Upon seeing the 4♣5♠6♥ flop, Ding was first to act and decided to jam all in for 775,000. Yong snap-called.

Ding took off his microphone and was already preparing to leave upon seeing that he was up against Yong's set of sailboats, and needed to spike a seven to stay in the tournament.

Yong improved to a full house by the river after the rest of the board came 10♦10♥, and Ding was the next elimination of the final table in seventh place.

On the first hand after the money bubble burst, Thomas Eychenne raised the button to 400,000 and Gha Iakobishvili jammed for 2,140,000 out of the big blind. Eychenne snap-called.

Eychenne's pair of nines were currently in the lead, and Iakobishvili needed to find a king or some clubs on the runout to stay alive.

The J♣J♥8♦ flop wasn't helpful for Iakobishvili, although he picked up some counterfeit outs on the Q♦ turn. A 7♠ completed the board, keeping Eychenne's pair ahead, and Iakobishvili headed to the rail in eighth place.
