Bellande Check-Raises Guilbert

Level 9 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Jean-Robert Bellande
Jean-Robert Bellande

Johan Guilbert raised to 75,000 out of the hijack with Jean-Robert Bellande calling from the small blind and Mikita Badziakouski defending his big blind.

Everyone checked the 894 flop to see the Q on the turn. The action checked to Guilbert and he fired out for 135,000. Bellande quickly check-raised to 500,000, forcing Badziakouski to fold. Guilbert took a little bit longer before also deciding to fold and saying to Bellande,

"Nice bluff, nice bluff".

Bellande didn't show and he was sent the pot.

Martirosian Welcomes Badziakouski to the Table; Eibinger Shoves on Lipp

Level 8 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

"Come on over, Johan," Jean-Robert Bellande shouted out after Daniel Rezaei's elimination left his table one player short.

"You're not the only one who wants to play with me. You've got to share me a bit," Guilbert replied.

It ended up being Mikita Badziakouski who was chosen to change tables. "Are you trying to win the tournament today?" Badziakouski joked with Adrian Mateos as he took his new seat.

Artur Martirosian then raised to 50,000 on the button and Badziakouski called in the big blind.

Martirosian bet 100,000 on the A109 flop and Badziakouski called. Martirosian then bet 275,000 on the 3 turn, and Badziakouski folded this time.

At the other table, Matthias Lipp bet 300,000 from the big blind on a board of J27K9 and Matthias Eibinger moved all in for 800,000 in the small blind. Lipp quickly folded and joined the rest of the field on break.

Mateos Cracks Rezaei's Aces

Level 8 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Daniel Rezaei
Daniel Rezaei

Daniel Rezaei raised to 50,000 under the gun and Adrian Mateos three-bet to 135,000 out of the cutoff. When it got back to Rezaei, he called to see a flop.

Rezaei check-called a bet of 80,000 from Mateos on the 78K flop.

A 10 hit the turn and once Rezaei checked, Mateos fired a second barrel of 265,000. Rezaei paused briefly, then shoved for around 535,000. Mateos snap-called.

Daniel Rezaei: AA All in
Adrian Mateos: KK

Mateos had outflopped Rezaei by spiking a set of kings, and Rezaei needed one of the two remaining aces in the deck to survive.

It didn't come as the Q completed the board, and Rezaei was the next casualty at the hands of Mateos.

"Don't Bluff the Donkey"

Level 8 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Jean-Robert Bellande
Jean-Robert Bellande

Jean-Robert Bellande raised to 55,000 under the gun and Artur Martirosian called in the big blind.

Bellande continued for 50,000 on the K73 flop, but Martirosian came back with a raise to 180,000. Bellande called.

The turn was the 2 and Martirosian bet another 200,000. Bellande again called, and the 8 fell on the river.

Martirosian slowed down and checked, and Bellande bet 125,000. Martirosian quickly folded.

"75. 45. 25," Bellande joked, trying to find a number that would've made Martirosian call.

"Let me tell you something my daddy told me when I was 11 years old. Don't bluff the donkey. See, I tried to bluff Johan," Bellande added.

Both players checked the 4 turn. Mateos then led out for 375,000 on the A river, and Muehlocker used up a few time banks before folding.
