Matthias Lipp raised the button to 50,000 and Mikalai Vaskaboinikau defended from the big blind.
Vaskaboinikau knuckled it over to Lipp on the A♠9♥9♣ flop, and Lipp bet 30,000. Vaskaboinikau called to see a turn.
Vaskaboinikau and Lipp checked the A♦ turn for the J♠ to drop on the river. Vaskaboinikau bet 75,000, which was enough to win him the pot as Lipp folded.

Mikalai Vaskaboinikau raised to 50,000 under the gun and Matthias Eibinger called in the big blind.
The flop came J♣5♠10♠ and Vaskaboinikau bet 25,000. Eibinger then put his last 70,000 on top of Vaskaboinikau's bet, and Vaskaboinikau committed the extra few chips.
Matthias Eibinger: K♦5♦
Mikalai Vaskaboinikau: A♣8♣
Eibinger was ahead with his pair of fives, but Vaskaboinikau hit the 8♦ on the turn to take the lead. The A♠ river improved him to two pair, and Eibinger was sent to the rail.

Heads-up on a flop of A♥3♣8♠, Daniel Rezaei bet 30,000 from the hijack before Artur Martirosian raised to 115,000 in the big blind. Rezaei called.
Martirosian bet another 250,000 on the 9♣ turn, and Rezaei again called. The river was the Q♥ and Martirosian bet 500,000, nearly covering Rezaei's remaining stack. Rezaei took a minute, but he eventually folded and Martirosian took the pot.
At the other table, Mikita Badziakouski shoved for 505,000 from the button. "Promising," Matthias Eibinger said as he peeled one card in the big blind. "I said promising with this card," he added, showing the 5♠ before calling.
Mikita Badziakouski: A♥2♥
Matthias Eibinger: 5♠5♣
Eibinger remained in the lead on the Q♥9♦6♦ flop, but Badziakouski spiked the A♦ on the turn to move in front. The river was the 7♥ and Badziakouksi doubled up, leaving Eibinger on an extreme short stack.

Mikita Badziakousi raised to 45,000 on the button and Matthias Lipp called in the small blind. Sinan Unlu then three-bet to 200,000 in the big blind, and only Lipp called.
The flop came 8♦7♠3♣ and Unlu bet 120,000. Lipp then raised to 255,000, and Unlu called.
Lipp bet another 250,000 on the 6♠ turn, and Unlu moved all in for 900,000. Lipp snap-called.
"You have sixes?" Unlu asked as he turned over A♥A♣. Lipp didn't have sixes, but he did show 7♥7♣ for a set.
"I had sixes," Badziakouski added, and the J♠ river sealed Unlu's elimination.

Johan Guilbert moved tables to take the seat of the departed Mikalai Vaskaboinikau, putting him alongside his cash game nemesis Jean-Robert Bellande.
The two opponents wasted little time getting involved in a pot, as Bellande bet 75,000 from the button on a flop of 7♥K♠9♥. Guilbert called in the big blind.
Both players checked the 9♠ turn, and Bellande then bet 310,000 on the A♥ river. Guilbert again called.
"I don't know why I ever try to bluff you," Bellande said as he tossed his cards into the muck, and Guilbert showed 10♥7♠ as he took the pot.
A few hands later, Guilbert bet 135,000 from the small blind on a board of 5♣4♥A♦10♠ and Bellande called in the hijack. Both players checked down the 2♦ river.
"I have the nuts," Guilbert said, and Bellande went to muck his cards. "Keep your cards," Guilbert told him, revealing K♦9♦ for a bluff. Bellande turned over J♣10♣ for a pair of tens.
"See, I'm nice. I told you to keep your cards," Guilbert said.
"This isn't monopoly money," Bellande added.
"You forgot I just won a bracelet, bro. I didn't expect to win money in poker again, so now I'm just playing monopoly," Guilbert replied.
"You're the Chris Moneymaker of high rollers," Bellande told him.
