Borovkov Finishes Puetz Off

Heads-up to a flop of K♠10♥4♠ and with 75,000 in the pot. Christopher Puetz bet 20,000 from the small blind and Alexey Borovkov called on the button.

Puetz checked when he saw the 6♠ turn, and Borovkov bet 45,000. Puetz smooth called.

Puetz checked after seeing the 10♠ river, and after a few moments, Borovkov jammed, covering Puetz. With 85,000 left in his stack, Puetz deliberated for a while before slamming in the call.

Borovkov showed a king-high flush with K♦Q♠ to win the pot and eliminate Puetz, who revealed trips with A♣10♦.

Yulian Bogdanov raised to 6,500 under the gun and Kenar three-bet from the hijack to 17,500. When it got back to Bogdanov, he called.

Bogdanov knuckled the action over to Kenar after seeing the K♠8♦7♥ flop, and Kenar bet 8,500. Bogdanov settled on a call.

A 6♥ fell on the turn and Bogdanov checked again. Kenar carved out a bet totalling 28,000, which was again called by Bogdanov.

The 4♥ arrived on the river and the action went check, check. Bogdanov turned over K♥J♣ for a pair of kings, and Kenar slid his cards into the muck.

The 6♥ on the turn checked through for the A♦ to arrive on the river. Puetz bet 13,000, which Borovkov quickly called. Borovkov showed trips with A♣4♥ and this was enough to earn him the pot.

Aleksandr Chernikov raised to 5,000 under the gun with Naryman Yaghmaie calling from the hijack, Boris Kolev calling out of the cutoff, and Stanislau Charvinski defending from the big blind.

Chernikov bet 6,000 when it got to him on the 6♣8♥A♣ flop. Yaghmaie and Kolev called.

The action checked to Kolev when the 7♣ arrived on the turn, and he bet 14,000. Chernikov folded, but Yaghmaie called.

Yaghmaie checked for the last when he saw a 9♠ drop on the river. Kolev bet 56,000, and after a few minutes, Yaghmaie flicked in the call.

Kolev revealed 9♣8♣ for a turned flush to win the pot.
