Ron Scott limped on the button, with Rob Garrett calling in the small blind and John Webb checking his big blind option.
The 9♥5♥6♠ flop saw Garrett lead out for 14,000 and Scott was the only caller. Both players then checked the Q♥ turn, with the action repeating on the 8♥ river.
Garrett turned over 7♠4♠ for a straight, taking down the pot as Scott mucked.
Priyank Savla was all in preflop for his last 26,000 and at risk against two players.
When the flop came down J♣5♠9♥, Brian Haughey bet 50,000 from the small blind and the other player folded.
Priyank Savla: 7♥5♣
Brian Haughey: 10♥10♣
Savla had flopped bottom pair but was way behind Haughey. The running J♥ turn and J♠ river failed to help Savla and he was eliminated from the tournament.
Life Outside Poker is a podcast for PokerNews hosted by Connor Richards that seeks to pull back the curtain on poker players and allow viewers and listeners to get to know them on a personal level.
In the 26th episode, Connor speaks with chess streamer and GGPoker ambassador Alexandra Botez about learning chess and poker from her dad, getting into streaming at Stanford, dealing with online trolls, creating content with her sister Andrea Botez and the similarities between chess and poker.
Botez also talked about winning $456,900 in a legendary 2022 Hustler Casino Livestream that included Phil Hellmuth, Mr. Beast and Ninja, as well as signing on as a GGPoker ambassador and securing two career-high cashes at World Series of Poker (WSOP) Paradise (she finished 60th in the $10,000 GGMillion$ Championship for $22,190 before finishing 187th in the $25,000 Super Main Event for $67,300).
Steven Tabb raised to 16,000 from middle position and the next player to act called. Kevin Dipasquale then moved all in for 77,000 from the cutoff and action folded back to Tabb, who moved all in over the top. The other player got out of the way and the cards were turned on their backs.
Kevin Dipasquale: A♦10♠
Steven Tabb: 7♥7♦
It was a race and Dipasquale took the lead when the Q♣5♥10♦ flop paired his ten. Neither the Q♠ turn nor 9♦ river changed a thing and Dipasquale doubled.
Mark Epstein raised to 17,000 from the cutoff only to be met by a three-bet to 38,000 from Jordan Fishman on the button. Both blinds folded and Epstein paused for a few beats before sliding in his entire stack of approximately 200,000. Fishman wasn't quick to make the call but did so nonetheless.
Mark Epstein: 10♠10♦
Jordan Fishman: A♦Q♥
It was a flip and Epstein was looking to hold to double. Unfortunately for him, that proved easier said than done as the A♠5♥Q♦ flop delivered Fishman top two pair.
Neither the 4♥ turn nor 6♣ river helped Epstein and he found himself on the rai.
