Diane Zimmerman

Thomas Karle raised to 4,200 in the cutoff and was called by Viswanath Ponraj on the button and Diane Zimmerman in the big blind.

"Let's play a game like they do in school. Can you spell this word? F-O-L-D," Karle joked with Ponraj as they headed to the 3108 flop. He then bet 14,000, and Ponraj tapped the felt and folded.

"He hasn't won yet," Zimmerman said as she called.

"It was a nice bet," Ponraj replied with a laugh.

The turn was the 9 and Karle bet 35,000. Zimmerman then moved all in for 56,900, and Karle quickly called. "I turned the nuts," Zimmerman said, turning over QJ.

"You called with a gutter ball? How?" Karle lamented as he tossed JJ into the middle of the table. The river was the A, and Zimmerman doubled up.

Thomas Karle limped in from the hijack before Nathan Bomey, who had chipped up significantly since taking the massive hit against Diane Zimmerman earlier, raised to 4,000 in the cutoff. Viswanath Ponraj called on the button, while Karle then reraised to 42,200. Bomey called, while Ponraj got out of the way.

Karle had just 1,200 behind and put in it even before the dealer revealed the 7JK flop. Bomey called.

Zimmerman Leaves Bomey on Fumes; Cosner Gets Paid by Tangri

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Diane Zimmerman bet 6,500 from the cutoff on a board of 1069Q and Nathan Bomey raised to 15,000 in the big blind. Zimmerman called, and the 8 fell on the river.

Bomey then bet 15,500, and Zimmerman moved all in for 24,800. Bomey called with AJ for a straight, but Zimmerman had the nut straight with KJ to win the pot and double up. Bomey was left with less than big blind after the hand.

"If you saw that online, you would be like, f**k that shit," tablemate Thomas Karle said.

At another table, Rishi Tangri had three-bet to 5,200 on the button and Daniel Cosner called in the cutoff.

Tangri continued for 3,400 on the 943 flop, and Cosner called. Both players checked the 2 turn, and Cosner then led out for 20,000 on the 8 river.

Tangri tanked for a few minutes before a tablemate called the clock. He eventually called, and Cosner showed Q10 for a flush to win the pot.
