Frazer Frazzles Hellmuth

Daniel Negreanu min-raised to 12,000 with the {K-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}. Giovanni Safina called with the {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}. Phil Hellmuth was on the button with the {J-Spades}{J-Clubs} and flat-called. Ian Frazer was in the small blind and called with the {8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}. Timoshenko held an off suit {J-?}{2-?} and folded for the minimum.

The flop came down {8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades} and action checked rto Hellmuth. He fired 20,000 with his overpair and then Frazer raised to 50,000 with his two pair. Negreanu and Safina folded and then Hellmuth reraised to 220,000. Frazer didn't call immediately and that got Hellmuth thinking he was in the lead.

"Oh baby, hold 'em! Hold'em!" he yelled, clapping his hands together. "It's OK, if you suck out, you suck out."

Frazer then called all in and Hellmuth hinted that he just got slowrolled.

The turn was the {8-Diamonds} and Frazer hit a full house. The river wasn't the case jack when the {4-Diamonds} fell and Frazer scooped a nice pot to double up. He's up to 374,000 and Hellmuth dropped to 145,000.

De Wolfe Doesn't Stick It In

David Benyamine picked up the {A-Hearts}{K-Spades} and raised to 19,000 from the cutoff seat. Roland De Wolfe was on the button and on the short stack with {7-Spades}{7-Clubs} and thought about it before folding. The two blinds folded as well.

With the points format in the PartyPoker Premier League IV, some players definitely seem to be altering their play in order to move up the ladder to earn more points.

More Chips for Timoshenko

Ian Frazer limped with the {A-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. Yevgeniy Timoshenko looked at the {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and then studied the table before limping in for 6,000. Phil Hellmuth held {K-Hearts}{6-Spades} in the big blind and checked.

The flop came down {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and Hellmuth checked. Frazer bet 8,000 and Timoshenko called. Hellmuth folded.

The turn card brought the {10-Diamonds}. Frazer checked fourth street and Timoshenko bet 21,000. Frazer called.

The river was the {9-Clubs} and Timoshenko filled up. Frazer fired out a blocking bet for 28,000. Timoshenko studied the situation and then made the call to win the hand with his full house.
