Rousso Traps Tran

JC Tran raised from the button and then Vanessa Rousso reraised from the small blind. Rousso was holding {A-Clubs}

and Tran held {K-Clubs}

. Tran made the call and then the flop came down {A-Spades}

. Rousso's pair of aces was best and she checked. Tran bet 37,000 and Rousso just flat-called.

The turn was the {5-Diamonds}

and Rousso checked again. Phil Hellmuth speculated that she was going to check-raise here, but after Tran bet 68,000, Rousso just called.

The river was the {Q-Hearts}

and gave Rousso two pair. She checked again, really looking to trap Tran. He took a while before firing a big bet of 123,000. Rousso verified the amount and then quickly called, tabling her two pair for the best hand.
