"DDP67" raised to 460 and got two calls from "TobyNiefers" and "i_Tonto" before Benj "Spraggy" Spragg raised to 2,100 with {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts} on the button.

All three players called and the flop came {10-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}

"Ace-high board," said a frustrated Spragg. "Fuck this board. I've got to check, give up, get out of town, whatever."

The flop checked around, but Spragg folded to a bet of 3,400 from "TobyNiefers" on the {4-Hearts} turn which took it down.

Back in July 2019, Conor “1_conor_1” Beresford took down a 10,931 player field to win the Sunday Million for $112,185 after defeating Ukraine's "manumanu1985" heads-up.

Winning the Sunday Million is one of the biggest achievements an online poker player can hope to accomplish, with the size of the field and the potential ROI larger than many other online tournaments.

Ahead of the $12.5m Anniversary Edition Sunday Million, PokerNews caught up with Beresford to talk about how it felt to win the Sunday Million and what his memories of this prestigious tournament were.

PokerStars Team Pro Felix "xflixx" Schneiders says he first played the Sunday Million back in 2008 when he was doing live training sessions for the PokerStars School.

"I actually streamed it on our rudimentary training software for the community back then," Schneiders told PokerNews. "The Sunday Million has always been THE tournament everyone is looking up to and forward to every Sunday. It's the embodiment of the Sunday grind."
