The players have just gone for their first 30-minute break of the day.
We joined the action on table 24, on a board reading with around 6,000 in the middle.
Julia Tsyrkin checked from the small blind, with Joachim Huth betting 3,500, and Lubomir Balaz making the call. Tsyrkin then applied the pressure with a check-raise to 10,000, forcing Huth to make what looked like an agonising decision. After a sip of his drink and a look to the heavens, Huth eventually folded his hand, before Balaz instantly cranked it up to 35,000.
A look of confusion spread across Tsyrkin's face before she eventually folded as well, with Balaz dragging in an almost 30,000-chip pot right before the break.

Robert Weiser opened from early position for a min-raise to 2,000, picking up no fewer than three callers, and taking it four ways to a flop. Nina Wegscheider checked first to act, with Dragan Zaric using this as an opportunity to put in the remainder of his stack, moving all-in for 4,100. Weiser, the original raiser, was the only player of the four to fold, with Patrick Lipina making the call, and Wegscheider coming along for the ride.
With one player all-in and nothing in the sidepot, both live players opted to check the turn, but Wegscheider couldn't check any longer when the board paired on the river, leading out for 8,500. Lipina quickly made a raise to a total of 30,000, with Wegscheider folding and Lipina whipping over for the turned nut flush. Zaric launched his face-up towards the muck, as he exited the tournament area, while Lipina dragged in another big pot.

We joined the action on table 24, just as Markus Ertelt was moving all-in for his last 8,800 on a flop into two other players. The player on the button thought for a minute before putting in the call, with Udo Hemmert coming along as well, having already checked the flop from the small blind.
The dealer burned and turned the , prompting another check from Hemmert, allowing the player on the button to move all-in for his last 38,000 - roughly a pot-sized bet. Hemmert let out a sigh before tossing his cards into the muck. The player on the button very quickly showed for top pair top kicker, while Ertelt was on a flush draw with his .
No diamond for Ertelt on the river, as he exits the tournament area. If he wants to take another stab at the €500,000 guarantee, he'll have the option to re-enter once for another €115, or even come back later for either the 7pm flight or 1030pm hyper-turbo.
