Merzhvinskiy Rising

Level 9 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

The corner section of the main tournament room features plenty of familiar faces on neighboring tables, as Gary Banks takes on Aleksei Kozlov and Pavel Shirshikov.

One table over is Kenny Hallaert and the Belgian witnessed Merzhvinskiy win a big pot on his table. The Russian had bet the {K-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts} river for 210,000 and was paid to flip over {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} for a full house. His opponent in the one seat mucked and Merzhvinskiy raked in the pot to get above average.
