Becker and Thomas Scoop Pots

Level 4 : 7,000/14,000, 14,000 ante

Tobias Ziegler raised to 30,000 and Julian Thomas defended his big blind. On a flop of {9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}, Thomas checked and subsequently check-raised from 30,000 to 85,000 in order to force a fold and recover some earlier losses.

Since registering, Antonello Capobianco has been able to add to his stack and almost doubled the chips, while Mikalai Vaskaboinikau on the same table has been dropping a lot. In a battle of the blinds with Johannes Becker, the duo invested 65,000 each preflop and the flop showed {K-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{9-Spades}. Becker checked and called a bet worth 50,000 before the {7-Diamonds} on the turn was checked through. On the {10-Clubs} river, Becker made it 140,000 to go and Vaskaboinikau folded.

Pidun and Kisacikoglu Battle Back and Forth

Level 3 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Daniel Pidun on the button and Orpen Kisacikoglu in the small blind were involved in a three-bet pot and a massive pot of more than 550,000 emerged to the {10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs} river. Kisacikoglu bet 900,000 and Pidun folded.

Soon after it was Pidun that made it 30,000 to go and Kisacikoglu three-bet once more, this time to 80,000 from one seat over. Pidun called and the duo checked the {J-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop. Pidun bet the {Q-Hearts} turn for 63,000 and Kisacikoglu called, while the {8-Spades} river was checked through. Pidun rolled over {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} for top pair and won the pot.

Mateos Makes Ramos Fold; More Entries

Level 3 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Felipe Ramos raised to 26,000 from the cutoff, Adrian Mateos was next to act and he raised to 80,000. The blinds folded quickly and it was up to Ramos to make a decision. He decided to call.

The flop came {4-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{5-Hearts}, Ramos check-called the 62,000 bet of Mateos.

They both checked on the {J-Clubs} on the turn to the {K-Clubs} on the river. Ramos checked, Mateos put in a bet of 450,000 which sent Ramos into the tank. In the meanwhile, Steffen Sontheimer took the seat on Ramos' left. Ramos looked at the board againa nd grimaced, in the end, he folded.

On the next table, another German, Julian Thomas has taken his seat. Patrik Antonius has also just joined that table. Antonius won the first Super High Roller here in Rozvadov but didn't have a good run yesterday in the second Super High Roller, so he will be looking to do better this time.

Tentative Plan for Today

Level 3 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

The field will most likely attract well over 30 entries and the plan is to play down to the last six, bag up for the night and come back tomorrow for a live-streamed final table. Depending on how many runners the tournament will get, this plan may be adjusted slightly, though.

Kisacikoglu Chips Up

Level 3 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Mikalai Vaskaboinikau raised to 30,000 from the hijack and Christian Christner moved all in for his last 472,000 out of the big blind, forcing a fold from the Belorussian.

Over on the most recently opened table, Orpen Kisacikoglu defended his big blind against a raise by Christoph Vogelsang and check-called a bet of 95,000 on the {J-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{3-Spades}{K-Clubs} turn. The {3-Diamonds} river was checked through and Kisacikoglu turned over {K-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for a full house. Vogelsang double-checked his cards and tossed them into the muck.
