Level 8 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Ryan Riess
Ryan Riess

Just before the break started, the dealer on Ryan Riess' table dealt another hand. Action folded to Shuaida Cheng in the small blind who raised to 40,000 and Ryan Riess called in the big blind.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{6-Spades}, Cheng bet 38,000 and Riess called again.

The turn brought them the {9-Clubs}, Cheng now bet 90,000. Riess glanced at Cheng and raised to 265,000. Cheng contemplated his options for about a minute or two.

"OK, I pass!" Cheng said and then flicked his cards over the line. Riess waited till the pot was sent his way before throwing his cards over the line too.

Morris Doubles With Trips

Level 7 : 9,000/18,000, 18,000 ante

The board was down {k-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{8-Spades}{8-Hearts} on Table 37, and Steven Morris was all in on the river playing from the cutoff. Nick Smith was in the big blind and called after thinking through his decision.

Morris tabled {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for trips, and Smith mucked, Morris, who won the High Roller event at the partypoker LIVE MILLIONS last year for £70,000, moved up to 1.4m.

Wilson Spikes a Set to Double; Sloan Eliminated

Level 6 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Andy Wilson had raised from the cutoff and Marc Sloan three-bet to 130,000. When the action was back on Wilson, he moved all in, and Sloan needed a minute to think before he called.

Andy Wilson: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Marc Sloan: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}

Board: {6-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{2-Clubs}

Sloan was ahead with the dominating pair, and the flop was safe for him. But the turn came a nine and Wilson hit his set to take the lead. The river {2-Clubs} was no help to Sloan, and he departed as Wilson moved up to 2.9m.
