Ben Jones raised to 210,000 from the hijack and was called by Maria Lampropulos in the cutoff, Allan Carmichael, and Asif Raja in the blinds.

Swift Eliminates Shak

Level 18 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Dan Shak
Dan Shak

Katie Swift raised from the cutoff, and Dan Shak moved all in from the big blind for his last five big blinds, which Swift called.

Katie Swift: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}
Dan Shak: {5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

Board: {4-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

Swift had the lead preflop, but Shak had a hand that was more than capable of winning. Shak picked up the up-and-down straight draw on the flop and Swift hit top set on the turn. The river nine of spades was no help for Shak, and he was eliminated as Swift picked up the pot.

Silver Takes the Pot

Level 18 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

The board read {9-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} with around 800,000 in the middle already.

Daniel Matasaru bet 450,000 from the big blind and Max Silver had called from under the gun. James Romero was considering his options and after a minute or so decided to call.

The board was completed with the {q-Diamonds} on the turn. Matasaru and Silver both checked. Romero needed some time to think about what to do. Matasaru ended up calling the clock on him and Romero quickly checked too.

Matasaru mucked immediately, Silver tabled {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for the flopped pair of aces and that enough to make Romero muck too.
