Louis Folds to Grafton River Bet

Level 19 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Sam Grafton
Sam Grafton

The board was down {10-Spades}{2-Clubs}{q-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}, and the action was on Sam Grafton in the big blind. With around 6m in the pot at this point, Grafton used a time bank card to think before he bet 3.6m. Louis had 30 seconds to act and opted to fold without having to use a time bank card, and Grafton swooped in the pot to continue his great start to the afternoon, after moving his stack up from 2.7m to 14.5m.

Proudfoot's Bluff Caught by Nixon

Level 19 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Jamie Nixon
Jamie Nixon

Jonathan Proudfoot raised to 260,000 from mid-position and both Adam Hilton and Jamie Nixon called in the blinds.

The flop came down {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{4-Spades} and both Hilton and Nixon checked. Proudfoot continued with a bet of 350,000 and only Nixon called.

The turn was the {k-Spades}, Nixon check-called the 800,000 continuation-bet of Proudfoot.

The river completed the board with the {9-Clubs}, Nixon checked for the last time. Proudfoot barreled another 2,500,000 over the line. Nixon tanked, having to use a time bank card and then called. Proudfoot tabled {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for the bluff. Nixon scooped the pot with {10-Spades}{7-Spades} for two pair, nines and sevens, to take him to almost 13 million.

Duta Over Concepcion

Level 19 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Florian Duta
Florian Duta

The board read {K-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{a-Spades} with around 1,200,000 in the pot already.

Jonathan Concepcion had checked in the cutoff and Florian Duta had bet 450,000 on the button. Concepcion was considering his options and then opted to make the call.

Duta tabled {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for the rivered straight and that was more than enough to make Concepcion muck.

Ruijs Out

Level 19 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Joris Ruijs was already seated in the High Roller but kind enough to tell the PokerNews live reporting team how he was eliminated:

"Guy in the cutoff had kings and I shoved for 24 big blinds from the small blind with treys. Flop was {a-}{10-}{5-}, the turn gave a backdoor but nothing else came".
