Flush For Warburton

Level 7 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Steven Warburton
Steven Warburton

We arrived at the action to see Chris Brammer had called a three-bet from Steven Warburton after he had initially opened the action with a raise from the small blind.

WSOP bracelet holder Brammer checked to Warburton on the {7-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop who continued for 14,000. Brammer made the call and the {j-Diamonds} appeared on the turn.

Both players checked the all-diamond board and saw the {8-Hearts} river. Brammer quickly checked once again and Warburton decided to check and take the showdown.

The {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} was enough to take down the pot with the queen high flush as Brammer mucked {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

Nitsche Re-Enters; Loeser Doubles

Level 7 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Shortly after the resumption of play, Dominik Nitsche was eliminated and re-entered.

At another table Manig Loeser was in the small blind and was all in holding {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} against the {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} of big blind Javier Gomez.

There were no sweats for either player as the board came {4-Hearts}{9-Spades}{k-Spades}{a-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and Loeser doubled up.

Mitchell Doubles Through Olympios in Huge Pot

Level 7 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
James Mitchell
James Mitchell

James Mitchell has just doubled his stack after clashing with Andreas Olympios.

Olympois started the hand with 180,000 but is now sitting with just 30,000.

We got to the action with all the chips in the middle and being counted with cards up.

The board read {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{10-Spades} and Olympois had a set with pocket tens, but it wasn't enough to beat Mitchell who held a straight with {k-}{q-}

Mitchell moves up to 290,000.

Players are going on their second break of the day, marking the half point of Day 1 in the partypoker LIVE UK Poker Championships £5,300 Super High Roller.

Brammer Builds Just Before the Break

Level 6 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Chris Brammer
Chris Brammer

Chris Brammer has just added 45,000 to his chip stack in the final hand before the break.

After an open to 7,200 from Javier Gomez, Brammer three-bet to 25,000 and was called.

Gomez, who had earlier reentered the Super High Roller, called a 17,000 continuation bet from Brammer on a {q-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop.

As the turn was revealed as the {9-Diamonds} Brammer bet enough to put Gomez all-in.

The Spaniard quicky mucked and Brammer increased his chip lead to 375,000.
