The action folded around to Julian Stuer in the small blind who went heads-up with Simon Deadman in the big blind. With a little under 5,000 in the middle and the board reading 
, Stuer led out for 3,500. Deadman called and the 
completed the board.
Stuer put together another bet of 12,500 and Deadman went into the tank for a couple of minutes. He eventually called and was given the bad news when Stuer turned over 
for two pair.
Mikita Badziakouski opened to 1,800 in middle position and Joey Weissman defended his big blind. The flop came 
and Weissman check-called a bet of 2,200 from Badziakouski.
The 
paired the board on the turn and Weissman led out for 3,000. Badziakouski called and the completed the board. Weissman checked this time and Badziakouski went into the tank before tossing in a bet of 23,000. Weissman instantly folded and Badziakouski collected the pot.
The tournament clock is showing four eliminations so far on Day 1a, and they include Sergi Reixach and Niall Farrell who were spotted heading to the exit.
This tournament does allow re-entry but players can only have one entry per Day 1. Late registration is open for two levels on Day 2 (start of Level 11).

board, Thomas Muehloecker bet 10,000 and got calls from Marvin Rettenmaier and Faraz Jaka.
The river was the 
and Muehloecker bet again, this time for 27,000. Rettenmaier folded and Jaka then announced all in.
Muehloecker took some time but eventually folded.
Blind on blind, Sergi Reixach had either limp-raised or bet-raised as he had a bet of 12,000 in front of him and Carlos Chadha had 2,800 in front of him.
Chadha then re-raised to 22,000 and Reixach called.
Reixach check-called 11,000 on the 
flop and the pair both checked the 
turn. Reixach checked the river and Chadha tanked. After two minutes he looked at his chips and after a further minute he bet 49,700 leaving just 100 behind. Reixach called but mucked when Chadha showed 
for a set of kings.
