Hutter Returns to Starting Stack

Level 2 : 300/600, 600 ante

With around 30,000 in the middle and the board reading {j-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{2-Spades}{5-Diamonds}, Barry Hutter was heads-up with an opponent on his right. The action checked to Hutter who moved all in for 36,600. His opponent gave it some thought and then made the call.

Barry Hutter: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Opponent: {q-Hearts}{j-Spades}

Hutter was out-flopped but picked up a flush draw on the turn. Hutter rolled his eyes before the {4-Diamonds} hit the river. Hutter made a flush to double up and stay alive, finding himself around a starting stack again.

Eibingers Fills Up on the River

Level 2 : 300/600, 600 ante

Brian Yoon raised it up from under the gun and was called by Matthias Eibinger in the small blind along with the big blind. The flop came {5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and the action checked to Yoon who continued for 3,000. Eibinger nearly beat him into the pot and the big blinds folded.

The turn brought the {6-Clubs} and Eibinger let out an exasperated groan, indicating that was the turn card Yoon was looking for. Both players checked and the {2-Hearts} completed the board. Eibinger slammed in a bet of 18,000 and Yoon tanked for a couple of minutes before making the call. Eibinger flipped over {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} for a full house and Yoon had to muck his cards.

More Notables In the Field

Level 1 : 200/500, 500 ante

Swift and Cada Chop It Up

Level 1 : 200/500, 500 ante

Action was pre-flop with three players in the hand. Joe Cada had a bet of 7,500 in front of him from the big blind and one player had called him. Katie Swift was also in the hand and she then raised to 21,700.

Cada thought before moving all in and the third player in the hand folded. Swift took her time before calling.

Joe Cada: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Katie Swift: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

The board {6-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{9-Hearts} was a chop, but it just goes to show that it's not impossible for 200 big blind stacks to get it in pre-flop.
