Chidwick Doing Chidwick Things

Level 3 : 300/700, 700 ante
Stephen Chidwick (at an earlier partypoker event)
Stephen Chidwick (at an earlier partypoker event)

After a raise from the cutoff, Stephen Chidwick dropped in a three-bet from the big blind. His opponent called and the dealer fanned a flop of {4-Hearts}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}. Chidwick checked and his opponent moved all in for 31,800. Chidwick thought for a minute before eventually making the call.

Stephen Chidwick: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Opponent: {4-Spades}{3-Spades}

Chidwick was behind with just his ace-high and the {6-Diamonds} on the turn brought no help. However, the {q-Spades} on the river paired his queen and Chidwick sent his opponent to the rail.

Chadha Doubles Through Reixach

Level 3 : 300/700, 700 ante

Blind on blind, Sergi Reixach had either limp-raised or bet-raised as he had a bet of 12,000 in front of him and Carlos Chadha had 2,800 in front of him.

Chadha then re-raised to 22,000 and Reixach called.

Reixach check-called 11,000 on the {q-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop and the pair both checked the {k-Spades} turn. Reixach checked the {a-Hearts} river and Chadha tanked. After two minutes he looked at his chips and after a further minute he bet 49,700 leaving just 100 behind. Reixach called but mucked when Chadha showed {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} for a set of kings.

River Bet Works for Badziakouski

Level 4 : 400/800, 800 ante

Mikita Badziakouski opened to 1,800 in middle position and Joey Weissman defended his big blind. The flop came {k-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and Weissman check-called a bet of 2,200 from Badziakouski.

Stuer Wins the Battle of the Blinds

Level 4 : 400/800, 800 ante

The action folded around to Julian Stuer in the small blind who went heads-up with Simon Deadman in the big blind. With a little under 5,000 in the middle and the board reading {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}, Stuer led out for 3,500. Deadman called and the {q-Spades} completed the board.

Stuer put together another bet of 12,500 and Deadman went into the tank for a couple of minutes. He eventually called and was given the bad news when Stuer turned over {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} for two pair.

"That's Quite a Call"

Level 4 : 400/800, 800 ante

Katie Swift bet 5,000 on the {3-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop and got called. The turn was the {9-Hearts} and she bet 7,000, with her opponent quickly moving all in for 100,000.

Swift had 40,000 behind and took her time before calling with {a-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for bottom pair and the nut flush draw. Her opponent showed {a-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} for just ace-high and the river {7-Spades} bricked, doubling Swift up.

"That's quite a call," her opponent said. "Wow."
