Paul Knebel Eliminated in 28th Place ($66,000)

Paul Knebel
Paul Knebel
Paul Knebel and Darren Keyes did battle a little while ago which ended up in Keyes delivering a three-outer to Knebel. Here it was much of the same.

Keyes and Knebel were all in preflop. Keyes held a dominated {K-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} to Knebel's {A-Hearts} {Q-Clubs}. The board ran out {K-Spades} {9-Diamonds} {6-Spades} {5-Spades} {J-Hearts} and Knebel was done. That was the second three-outer delivered to Knebel by Keyes within one level. Sometimes, someone just has your number and there's not much you can do. Knebel took home $66,000 for his efforts.

Ryan Karp Eliminated in 31st Place ($66,000)

Benjamin Zamani opened the pot with a raise to 70,000 from middle position. Ryan Karp then three-bet to 200,000 and when the action returned to Zamani, he moved all in over the top, putting Karp to a decision for all of his chips. Karp made the call for less (about 660,000) and the following showdown ensued:

Zamani: {5-Hearts}{5-Spades}
Karp: {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}

The board then ran out {7-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts}{3-Spades}{10-Diamonds} in favor of Zamani, whose fives held up to claim the pot.

Zamani stacked up 1.9 million in chips after the hand.

Golden Aces

Action folded around to the button Zachary Goldberg and he raised to 75,000. Robert Mizrachi was in the small blind and reraised to 225,000. The big blind folded and action fell back on Goldberg. He took a moment and then announced tat he was all in and the total bet was 531,000. Mizrachi called.

Goldberg rolled over {A-Spades} {A-Diamonds} and Mizrachi held {K-Diamonds} {Q-Spades}.

Goldberg flopped top set and went on to make a full house as the board was completed {A-Clubs} {K-Spades} {2-Hearts} {2-Clubs} {J-Spades}. He doubled to 1.1 million chips and Mizrachi dropped to 2.605 million.

Tom Koral opened the pot with a raise to 75,000 from the hijack position and action folded around to Alex Brenes in the small blind who moved all in over the top for a total of 470,000. Koral made the call and tabled a pocket pair of kings. Brenes was drawing thin with the {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}.

Moments later the community cards were dealt -- {6-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{J-Clubs} and Koral took down the pot with a set of kings, sending Brenes to the rail in 32nd place.
