Late Arrivals

Here's some more names that have arrived to play the $25,000 High Roller. The field size is up to 121 players and still growing. This event is also re-entry, so that could help the field grow even more.

Little Finds a Big Ten to Crack Boeree's Aces

Action folded around the table to Team PokerStars Pro Liv Boeree in the small blind and she raised to 650. In the big blind, Jonathan Little three-bet to 2,000. Boeree didn't back down and came back with a four-bet to 6,100. Little five-bet all in for 31,375 and Boeree snapped.

Boeree: {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}
Little: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

The flop, turn and river ran out {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and although Boeree held the {A-Clubs}, the ten on the river gave Little a full house and he doubled up. Boeree was left with around 20% of the starting stack.

Selbst Can't Call River Bet

Level 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Selbst opened to 500 from under the gun, and fellow pro Pierre Neuville called on her direct left. The rest of the action folded, and the dealer fanned {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{4-Spades}. Selbst led for 700, and Neuville called. The turn was the {8-Clubs}, and Selbst slowed down, checking to Neuville who took the opportunity to fire 1,575. Selbst called.

The {7-Clubs} completed the board, and Selbst checked again. Neuville bet 3,100, and Selbst folded.

Lichtenberger Takes One

Level 2 : 100/200, 25 ante

Nicolas Fierro opened from under the gun, 2011 World Series of Poker Main Event Champion and Team PokerStars Pro Pius Heinz three-bet to 1,450 near the button, and Andrew Lichtenberger cold four-bet to 3,250 from the small blind. The big blind released, Fierro called, and Heinz tanked before getting out of the way.

The flop fell {q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{2-Spades}, and both players checked. Lichtenberger led after the {j-Diamonds} turned, betting 4,000, and Fierro quickly called. The {7-Clubs} completed the board, and both players checked again. Lichtenberger rolled over {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for a pair of queens, Fierro mucked, and Lichtenberger won the pot.
