Srinivasan Over Ortiz

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 5,000 ante

Shyam Srinivasan looked at {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} in the cutoff and raised the action to 130,000. Fabian Ortiz called with {10-Spades}{9-Spades} from the small blind and the two took a flop of {5-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}.

Ortiz checked to the raiser and Srinivasan continued out for 155,000. Ortiz slid out a check-raise to 350,000 and Srinivasan called to see fourth street.

The dealer rapped the table and paired the board on the turn with the {Q-Spades}. Ortiz slowed down with a check and Srinivasan moved forward 325,000. Ortiz went into the tank for about two minutes before finally opting to release his hand.

Srinivasan picked up the pot and now has about 3 million in chips.

Shyam Srinivasan raised to 110,000 in the cutoff with {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, Isaac Baron called on the button with {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}, and Fabian Ortiz called out of the small blind with {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}.

The dealer spread {2-Hearts}{3-Spades}{9-Clubs}, giving all three players a backdoor flush draw, but Baron had the lead with a pair of nines. Ortiz checked, Srinivasan continued for 230,000, and Baron called.

Ortiz flicked his cards into the muck, the dealer burned a card, and delivered the {9-Diamonds} on the turn Srinivasan checked, Baron fired out 350,000, and the Canadian folded.

Gamez Doubles Through Lefrancois

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Daniel Gamez raised to 100,000 from the button with {A-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. Pascal Lefrancois looked down at {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} from the small blind and made it 250,000 to go. The big blind folded and Gamez thought for a moment before flat calling.

The flop came {4-Spades}{A-Spades}{5-Diamonds}, giving Gamez top two pair. Lefrancois checked over to Gamez and he shipped all in for 1.005 million. Lefrancois went into the tank quite some time before calling.

The turn brought the {9-Spades}, leaving Lefrancois drawing dead to the river. The {4-Diamonds} finished off the board and Gamez was able to scoop the double up.
