Haxton Shoves Out Shak

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

With 80,000 in the middle and the flop showing {4-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{3-Spades}, Dan Shak fired out 50,000. Isaac Haxton moved all in, making it 206,000 to go, and Shak went into the tank.

The pseudo-businessman, pseudo-professsional poker player eventually mucked his hand, and Haxton picked up the pot.

Smith Leads Flop and Turn

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

From the cutoff seat, Matt Glantz raised to 9,000. Team PokerStars Pro and 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event champion Jonathan Duhamel called from the small blind, then Dan Smith, winner of the recent 2013 World Poker Tour Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic Main Event for $1,161,135, called out of the big blind to make it a three-way affair.

On the {K-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Spades} flop, Duhamel checked, then Smith bet out 20,000. Glantz called, and Duhamel folded.

The turn was the {4-Diamonds}, and Smith led for 50,000. Glantz mulled over his decision for a little bit of time, then folded, and Smith won the pot.

One For Selbst

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Sorel Mizzi, Vanessa Selbst, and Daniel Colman took a flop of {2-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}. Mizzi and Selbst checked over to Colman who bet 18,000 from the button. Mizzi came over the top with a check-raise to 45,000 which sent Selbst into the tank.

After a moment, the PokerStars Team Pro reached for chips and moved forward a three-bet to 83,000. Colman got rid of his hand and now it was Mizzi's turn in the tank. A beat passed and he ultimately opted to kick in his cards, awarding the pot to Selbst in the process. Selbst is now sitting on about 325,000 in chips.

Watson Busts

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Mike Watson open-shoved for 42,000 on the button, Dan Smith called on his direct left, and Max Altergott asked Smith for a count before re-raising to 95,000.

Smith folded, and Watson turned over {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}.

"Triple me up," the Canadian said with a smile.

Altergott tabled {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} for two over cards, and took a commanding lead when the flop fell {q-Spades}{k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}. Watson found no help on the turn ({j-Spades}) or the river ({10-Hearts}), and hit the rail.

"Will we be seeing you again, Mr. Watson?" someone asked him, wondering if he would reenter.

Watson was noncommittal, but stretched and uttered a "maybe."
