Miguel Capriles raised to 4,000 first to act and Thi Xoa Nguyen on the button three-bet to 15,000. Jason Mercier in the small blind had as much behind and gave it some serious contemplation before sending the cards into the muck. Capriles came along to see the 
flop and checked his option. Nguyen continued for 10,000 and that was enough to shut down any further resistance.
