Toktabayev Puts Pressure on Vogelsang

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

The board read {7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{8-Hearts} with 29,500 in the middle already.

Timur Toktabayev had the all-in button in front him with around 150,000 behind in the under-the-gun position.

Christoph Vogelsang was sitting in the tank as he was covered by Toktabayev. Vogelsang stared at Toktabayev, contemplated his options for a while, looked around the room, trying to figure out what to do. In the end, Vogelsang folded and showed {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for the flopped pair of sixes and the gutshot straight draw.

Toktabayev smiled and showed {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for the turned pair of eights, the open-ended straight draw, and the flush draw.

"Monster draw!" Toktabayev said with a grin while Vogelsang looked relieved to have made the right fold.

Zamani Doubles Through Peters

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

In a battle early position versus hijack between David Peters and Martin Zamani, the flop showed {7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and Peters check-called a bet of 3,500 by Zamani. On the {9-Clubs} turn, Peters checked and Zamani reluctantly moved all in for 21,000, Peters quickly called.

Martin Zamani: {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
David Peters: {9-Spades}{6-Spades}

Zamani had already locked up the double and further improved to a full house with the {7-Diamonds} river, but remains just below the starting stack.

Glantz's Aces No Good

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

On the tail end of a hand between Platinum Pass winner Sergei Leonichev and Matt Glantz, the latter bet 7,500 with the board showing {9-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and Leonichev gave it some thought before making the call.

Glantz tabled the {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}, but it was no good as Leonichev held {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades} for two pair. Next to Leonichev is the big stack at the table, UK's Matthew Moss.

Moorman Calls Correctly

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante
Chris Moorman
Chris Moorman

There were three players still alive in the hand when the dealer spread the flop of {k-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}. The action checked to Chris Moorman who was last to act and he bet 5,100 into a pot of around 15,000. The player in early position quickly check-raised to 15,000 which got the third player out, but Moorman still called.

The turn brought the {a-Diamonds} and both players checked to the {a-Hearts} on the river. Moorman was faced with another bet of 15,000 and he mulled it over before making the call. His opponent neglected to show his cards and the pot was shipped to Moorman after catching his opponent in a bluff.

Andress Doubles Through Reard

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

Mike Watson opened from the hijack, John Andress called on the button and so did Alexandre Reard in the big blind.

The flop came {3-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{2-Spades}, Reard and Watson both checked. Andress bet 2,000, Reard raised to 8,300 for Watson to fold. Andress looked at Reard and then called.

The turn was the {j-Spades}, Reard barreled a bet of 12,000 over the line and Andress took a few seconds before making the call.

The river completed the board with the {7-Clubs}, Reard shoved with the bigger stack and Andress snap-called. Reard showed {10-Spades}{3-Spades} for the pair of treys and Andres quickly flipped over {5-Spades}{4-Spades} for the flopped straight to double up for the 37,300 he had behind.

The players have just gone for the last break of the day which lasts 30 minutes this time.
