Perkins Doubles Through Krpan

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

John Krpan opened on the button for 3,700, the small blind reraised to 14,500 and Bill Perkins ripped in just shy of 60,000 in the big blind. Krpan reraised all in for just about 12,000 more and the small blind quickly folded.

John Krpan: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Bill Perkins: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

Perkins held through the {8-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{j-Spades} runout and Krpan busted in short order.

Elias on the Come Up

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Both blinds checked to Darren Elias on the button, and he bet 8,200 on a flop of {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{3-Clubs}. Small blind Andjelko Andrejevic called, and both players checked the {3-Hearts}. The river was a {j-Clubs}, which got checked through as well.

Andrejevic showed {q-Clubs}{j-Spades} but Elias had kings up with {k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}.

Yoon Loses the Last of It

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

A player opened for 3,200 in middle position, Stepan Mikhno called on the button and Brian Yoon called in the big blind. On the {7-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop, Yoon jammed for his last 10,500 or so. The opener mucked but Mikhno double-checked his cards and called, tabling {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}.

Yoon had {9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and was in bad shape, but turned the {9-Hearts} for some equity. The {q-Diamonds} river didn't help him.

Lima Busts Dattani and Lampropulos

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
María Lampropulos
María Lampropulos

Within two consecutive hands, Umang Dattani and Maria Lampropulos sent their short stacks over to Theo Da Cruz Lima.

Hand #1

Dattani was all in and at risk in a classic flip with {4-Spades}{4-Hearts} and Lima held the {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}. The board came {Q-Spades}{J-Clubs}{8-Spades}{10-Spades}{10-Hearts} and Lima turned the straight.

Hand #2

The three-way flop of {K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{10-Hearts} was checked by Christopher Kennedy in the big blind and Lampropulos in the cutoff. Lima bet 3,500 on the button and Kennedy called. Lampropulos check-raised to 12,000 out of a total stack of 26,000 and Lima reraised to 30,000 to force out Kennedy. Lampropulos called it off and the cards were turned over.

Maria Lampropulos: {Q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Theo Da Cruz Lima: {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}

The {K-Hearts} turn and {J-Spades} river brought no miracle split pot for Lampropulos and she headed to the rail.

Somerville Wins a Classic Flip

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

There was a raise to 2,500 and Jason Somerville stuck in a three-bet to 8,200 on the button. Edward Holyoke was in the big blind and tossed in a four-bet to 24,200. The original raiser folded and Somerville five-bet shoved all in, which Holyoke called for his remaining 83,000 chips.

Jason Somerville: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Edward Holyoke: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

It was a classic flip and Somerville would take the lead on the {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} flop. The turn was the {9-Clubs} and the river brought the {j-Spades} as Somerville sent Holyoke to the rail.

Rudolph Barrels Out Two

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Christian Rudolph put in a squeeze to 13,700 preflop from the small blind but did not chase away a couple of opponents who decided to see the {7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop with him. Rudolph wasted little time before tossing out 13,000. A player in middle position folded right away. The cutoff needed longer but he mucked as well.
