In a battle of the blinds, Yiannis Liperis opened to 240,000 out of the small blind and Julien Martini called in the big blind. On the flop, Liperis continued for 185,000 and Martini came along to see the turn. Liperis fired a second barrel worth 555,000 and Martini tossed in calling chips.
On the river, Liperis checked and Martini checked behind to get shown for top set by Liperis. The Frenchman mucked and dropped further below the average.
