Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Martins Adeniya
Martins Adeniya

Before the three table redraw took place, Pedro Padilha made it 160,000 to go from middle position and Martins Adeniya in the big blind moved all in for around 730,000, Padilha almost beat him into the pot.

Martins Adeniya: {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}
Pedro Padilha: {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}

The board came {J-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and Adeniya had to settle for 24th place and a payday of $126,000.

Barbosa Eliminated by Jattin

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Joao Barbosa
Joao Barbosa

Down to what appeared to be 950,000, Joao Barbosa ended up all in and at risk with a pocket pair at one of the outer tables only for Farid Jattin to turn over the superior pocket pair.

Joao Barbosa: {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}
Farid Jattin: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

There was no help on the board {K-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs}{8-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} and Barbosa was eliminated in 25th place. All remaining 24 hopefuls will now redraw to the final three tables.

Johnson Doubles Through Baumstein

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Chris Johnson jammed for 1.1 million in the cutoff and Scott Baumstein put him at risk from the small blind with {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}. Johnson had two overs with {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}, and the {6-Hearts}{10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} was exactly what he was looking for. The {8-Diamonds} brought a few more cards to fade but the {a-Clubs} was a safe river.

Stewart Eliminates Echave

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Scott Stewart got the count of everyone behind then just put in enough to set everyone in from the cutoff. Adrian Echave called on his left for around 780,000 and everyone else mucked.

Scott Stewart: {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}
Adrian Echave: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}

The board ran out {k-Spades}{2-Hearts}{4-Spades}{k-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, no help to Echave.

Rettenmaier Runs Out of Chips

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Marvin Rettenmaier
Marvin Rettenmaier

Down to around 1 million in chips, Marvin Rettenmaier shoved in the hijack on the secondary feature table and Scott Baumstein in the small blind pushed forward a big stack of T-100,000 chips. Scott Stewart in the big blind had fewer than that behind and quickly folded.

Marvin Rettenmaier: {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Scott Baumstein: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

The flop came {J-Hearts}{J-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Baumstein nodded "alive until the river" over to Rettenmaier. What followed was the blank {2-Spades} turn and the {4-Diamonds} river provided no help either, sending Rettenmaier to the rail in 27th place.

Benger Perks Up

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

After a raise from Talal Shakerchi with {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}, Griffin Benger moved his short stack of around 680,000 into the middle with {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}. Shakerchi made a quick call and the cards were on their backs.

The flop fell {q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and Benger was still in the lead with his ace-king high. The turn was the {k-Diamonds} to give Benger a pair of kings but Shakerchi picked up a straight draw. The river was the {8-Hearts} and Benger found a double up.

Aces for Liperis

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

In a battle of the blinds, Yiannis Liperis opened to 240,000 out of the small blind and Julien Martini called in the big blind. On the {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} flop, Liperis continued for 185,000 and Martini came along to see the {9-Hearts} turn. Liperis fired a second barrel worth 555,000 and Martini tossed in calling chips.

On the {8-Hearts} river, Liperis checked and Martini checked behind to get shown {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds} for top set by Liperis. The Frenchman mucked and dropped further below the average.

Rivera Eliminates Jiang

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Sosia Jiang
Sosia Jiang

Sosia Jiang shoved all in for 1,435,000 in second position and Marc Rivera reraised all in on her left to chase everyone else out.

Sosia Jiang: {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Marc Rivera: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

The {q-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Clubs}{4-Spades}{k-Clubs} board brought nothing for Jiang and she hit the rail in 28th.
