Ho, Clinkscales Get Shoves Through

Both Maria Ho and Rex Clinkscales have been nurturing shorter stacks, but both of them picked up some chips uncontested. After a raise from Mihai Manole and call from Glenn Miller, Maria Ho called from the big blind with 103,000 behind. On the {7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop, Manole bet 17,000, Miller folded, Ho got it in and Manole folded after one time bank.

Another time bank card got used by Scott Wellenbach against Clickscales. Wellenbach had bet 40,000 on a {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} board, Clinkscales shoved for 232,000 and Wellenbach gave it up after the extra seconds.

Hakim Spikes a Double

The cards of Pasquale Sarracco were already rushed away and he had to pay off Jeff Hakim for 228,000, as he could not beat the {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} of Hakim on a board of {10-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}. According to Hakim, he opened to 16,000 and Sarracco three-bet out of the blinds to 48,000, then called the dour-bet shove with {A-Spades}{Q-Spades} to end up second-best.

The turn brought the {k-Spades}. This time, Urbanovich led for 22,000. Simao raised to 100,000, enough to claim the pot.

On the tail end of a hand between Aleksandr Gofman and Marc Perrault, the former bet the {9-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{A-Spades} river for 67,000 out of the big blind and Perrault called. Gofman tabled {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} for a straight and won the pot.

Hunter Gets Lucky

"No worries mate," Beresford responded to his countryman.
