Hakim Busts Beresford

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Conor Beresford moved all in for his last 72,000 first to act and he was called by Jeff Hakim in the small blind.

Conor Beresford: {A-Clubs}{5-Clubs}
Jeff Hakim: {A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}

Both players had suited aces and nothing much changed on the {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{6-Hearts} flop. Hakim paired his seven on the {7-Clubs} turn, but that card also gave Beresford a flush draw. The {10-Diamonds} river was a blank and Beresford busted right after coming back from the break.

Gomez Zapatero and Stembera Out in Back-to-Back Hands

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #1

After defending out of the blinds to see the {Q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop, Javier Gomez Zapatero check-shoved into Matthias Eibinger on the button and was called to be at risk for around 250,000.

Javier Gomez Zapatero: {K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}
Matthias Eibinger: {A-Hearts}{3-Hearts}

The {8-Hearts} turn instantly sealed the fate of the Spaniard and the {K-Hearts} river was a mere formality.

Hand #2

Michael Stembera was the single big blind and the action folded to Vicent Bosca, who open-shoved for effectively 15 big blinds, as that's what Stembera had left. The call followed and they were off to the races.

Michael Stembera: {A-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Vicent Bosca: {2-Hearts}{2-Spades}

The board came {6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and Stembera missed out on his two overcards and flush draw to become the next casualty.

Bianchi Takes on the Spanish

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Chase Bianchi
Chase Bianchi

The Spanish Armada in the Bahama's is having a fantastic week with Ramon Collilas's earlier victory in the PokerStars Players Championship for $5.1 million. Several of Spain's great, the Javier's Gomez Zapatero and Zarco, as well as Vicent Bosca, are trying to mimic Collilas's run and bring a second big title to the southern European country.

One of them, Zarco, was short and raised to 125,000 from early position, leaving himself with 9,000 behind. One seat over, Vicent Bosca made the call, which brought the action to Gomez. He cut out a raise to what appeared to be 300,000. It got to Chase Bianchi in the small blind, who was unfazed by all the earlier action and shoved for 634.000

Zarco burned two time banks before committing his final chips. Bosca couldn't get out of the way fast enough and Gomez reluctantly flicked in a chip to call the shove off.

Javier Zarco: {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Chase Bianchi: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}
Javier Gomez Zapatero: {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}

The {J-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{J-Clubs} board remained solid for Bianchi. Zarco was out, while Gomez took a massive hit to his stack.
