Felipe Pantoja: {A-Clubs}{J-Spades}

Hakim Wins Dramatic Flip Against Bosca

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Jeff Hakim opened to 27,000 and Vicent Bosca three-bet to 100,000. Back on Hakim he reraised to 525,000 with 99,000 behind and Bosca wasted little time before moving all in with the far superior stack.

Hakim turned around to check the info screen, used one time bank and made sure there were 28 players remaining. He then called all in before his second 30-second countdown was about to run out and a classic race emerged.

Jeff Hakim: {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}
Vicent Bosca: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}

Bosca flopped best on {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}, and the {10-Spades} turn changed nothing yet. However, the {Q-Clubs} river came to the rescue and Hakim doubled for 624,000 in dramatic fashion.

Altman Takes on Pantoja

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Felipe Pantoja
Felipe Pantoja

It's been all Brian Altman over at table 4 and Felipe Pantoja was the one getting the full load of it this time. On a {5-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop, Pantoja called a 33,000 bet and also called a second barrel worth 160,000 on the {K-Clubs} turn.

The river was the {10-Clubs} and Altman emptied the clip with a bet of 450,000. Without hesitation, Pantoja flung three of his five time bank cards in the middle to give himself ample thought. After the extra time had nearly run out, he flung the other two in as well.

After five time extensions, Pantoja's clock eventually ran out and his hand was declared dead.
