Manole Takes From Berkey

Matt Berkey won a hand against Christoph Vogelsang via three-bet and soon after stayed active, opening to 40,000. Mihai Manole three-bet to 120,000 and Berkey called. On the {K-Spades}{9-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop both players checked and Berkey check-called a bt of 115,000 on the {9-Clubs} turn.

The {K-Clubs} river was checked and Berkey showed {J-Clubs}{J-Spades}, Manole had the better pocket pair in {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}.

Pantoja Shows the Nut Blocker

After the {K-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{10-Spades} turn was checked through between Brian Altman in the blinds and Felipe Pantoja in middle position, Altman bet the {6-Hearts} river for 100,000 and Pantoja moved all in.

Altman asked for a count and folded when it was deemed to be for 446,000. Pantoja flashed {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} for the nutflush blocker.

Simon Deadman opened to 32,000 under the gun with {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} and Claas Segebrecht called in the big blind wiht {q-Hearts}{7-Spades}.

The flop was {j-Spades}{9-Clubs}{q-Clubs}. Segebrecht checked. Deadman bet 32,000, Segebrecht check-raised all in for 175,000 and Deadman called.

The {10-Spades} turn and {a-Spades} river completed the board and that was it for Segebrecht, who once again came up short after a clash with his nemesis.

A few hands before dinner break (at the feature table), Marc-Andre Ladouceur opened to 27,000 on the button with {q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}. Claas Segebrecht called from the small blind with {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. Simon Deadman, in the big blind, called with {6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}.

The flop was {k-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{k-Spades}. Segebrecht and Deadman checked. Ladouceur bet 30,000 and both of his opponents called.

The turn brought the {a-Clubs} and was checked around to the {5-Spades} river. Segebrecht threw in a bet of 90,000. Deadman raised to 260,000. Ladouceur folded. Segebrecht went deep into the tank and burned through three extensions before mucking his cards with a disgusted look.
