Nguyen Flips Well Against Jouhkimainen

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

The chips went into the middle before the flop as a short-stacked Turbo Nguyen ended up at risk against Joni Jouhkimainen.

Turbo Nguyen: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}
Joni Jouhkimainen: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}

The classic flip went to Nguyen as he got there on the {a-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} runout.

"Now I can actually start playing poker," Nguyen joked. "I told her we gonna do another five hours massage," he said in table chat, referring to the massage therapist.

Talbot Short After Tussle With Boianovsky

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Until the heads-up turn of {8-Spades}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, some 8,000 chips were in the middle and Parker Talbot bet 3,800. Felipe Boianovsky called in the cutoff and the {2-Spades} on the river was checked by Talbot, who had less than one-third of the starting stack behind. Boianovsky bet 17,000 and the PokerStars ambassador sigh-folded.

"You never fold those to me," Fabiano Kovalski joked, as both had been battling frequently on the live and especially online poker tables previously.

"Was I playing against you in that hand?" a semi-serious Talbot replied with a dry smile on his face.

Ventura Gets Value From Vang

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Kou Vang had checked the {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{2-Spades} river while in the small blind and Diego Ventura in the cutoff bet 11,500 into a pot of around 15,000. That sent Vang into a brief tank and he sigh-called, placing two blue T-5,000 chips closer to Ventura on the felt.

The Peruvian flipped over the {7-Spades}{6-Spades} for a full house and that won the pot indeed.

Runout Denies Naves a Double Up

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Roger Teska opened to 1,300 from the button before Tauan Naves jammed for 18,100 from the small blind. PokerStars Ambassador Sam Grafton folded from the big blind and Teska called after asking for a count.

Tauan Naves: {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
Roger Teska: {a-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

Naves was dominated and in bad shape until he paired his deuce on the {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop. However, the {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} runout meant the shares were spoiled and Naves remained below starting stack.
