Pardo Felted by Vogelsang

Level 15 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Juan Pardo
Juan Pardo

Christoph Vogelsang raised to 20,000 from under the gun and Kathy Lehne called on the button. Juan Pardo jammed for 88,000 in the big blind and Vogelsang called, Lehne folded.

Juan Pardo: {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}
Christoph Vogelsang: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}

"Five on the flop," Pardo predicted but the wish wasn't granted on the {7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} runout.

Three Table Redraw Imminent

Level 15 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Kannapong Thanarattrakul
Kannapong Thanarattrakul

Kannapong Thanarattrakul moved all-in for 80,000 and Bryn Kenney asked for a count before he isolated with a shove for 214,000. That forced out the blinds and the cards were tabled.

Kannapong Thanarattrakul: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Bryn Kenney: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

The {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{a-Spades}{10-Clubs} runout kept the Thai in contention.

Soon after that on the same table, Justin Bonomo jammed a short stack of just 67,000 and Talal Shakerchi went over the top out of the small blind to isolate as well.

"That was a little bit too fast," Bonomo said with a smile and revealed his {j-Spades}{9-Spades}

Shakerchi was ahead with the {a-Spades}{10-Clubs} and that remained to be the case throughout the {a-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Spades}{9-Clubs}{k-Hearts} board.

Thanarattrakul was then eliminated by Steve O'Dwyer when his {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a flopped flush draw versus O'Dwyer's {q-Spades}{3-Diamonds} for two pair went in after the {q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop. The {7-Spades} turn gave Thanarattrakul a gutshot on top but the {4-Diamonds} river was a blank.

One table over, Isaac Haxton doubled his short stack with {k-Hearts}{7-Spades} as Juan Pardo and his shove with the {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts} out of the small blind didn't get there on the {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{9-Clubs} runout.

The field was reduced to the final three tables and they will now redraw to their new seat assignments.

Miracle Runout Propels Yan to Big Stack

Level 15 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
David Yan
David Yan

David Yan had raised to 17,000 and Daniel Dvoress called. Jean-Noel Thorel shipped it in for 163,000 and Yan called for most of his stack. Dvoress then pushed all-in over the top and Yan called for 201,000.

Jean-Noel Thorel: {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
David Yan: {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Daniel Dvoress: {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}

The {8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop gave Dvoress the top set while Thorel had the nut flush draw. Somehow, Yan pulled a rabbit out of the hat with the {7-Diamonds} turn and {4-Clubs} river as he improved to a straight.

"With a big smile on the face, the New Zealander joked "don't report that".

Adams No More; Thanarattrakul Short

Level 14 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Chris Brewer check-raised a {9-Clubs}{8-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop from 16,000 to 40,000 in a battle cutoff versus button when facing Kannapong Thanarattrakul and the Thai called.

Brewer then jammed the {3-Clubs} turn and Thanarattrakul eventually called.

Chris Brewer: {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}
Kannapong Thanarattrakul: {j-Spades}{10-Spades}

The {j-Hearts} river kept Brewer ahead with his kicker advantage and he scored the double, leaving Thanarattrakul short.

At the same time, Timothy Adams was flipped out by the {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs} of Aleksejs Ponakovs as the pair remained ahead on the {6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{j-Spades}{6-Clubs} runout.

Double-Ups for Addamo and O'Dwyer

Level 14 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Steve O'Dwyer
Steve O'Dwyer

Timothy Adams raised in the cutoff and then called the three-bet shove by Michael Addamo from one seat over for 69,000 on the button.

Michael Addamo: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Timothy Adams: {a-Spades}{3-Spades}

Thanks to a board of {q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{j-Hearts}{4-Spades}, Addamo doubled with a set of jacks to put a small dent into Adams' stack.

Shortly after on table three, Steve O'Dwyer flipped for 280,000 and was looked up by Talal Shakerchi.

Steve O'Dwyer: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Talal Shakerchi: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

The {q-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop improved O'Dwyer to the superior pair. Nothing changed with the {6-Spades} turn and {k-Diamonds} river to keep the Irishman in contention.

Shakerchi Jams Into Thanarattrakul

Level 14 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Talal Shakerchi
Talal Shakerchi

In a three-bet pot to the {k-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop, Talal Shakerchi came along in the hijack after Kannapong Thanarattrakul had reraised to 47,000. Shakerchi opted to check and Thanarattrakul continued for 30,000, earning a call from the Brit.

The same action repeated on the {j-Diamonds} turn for 80,000 and the {3-Diamonds} river was checked once more by Shakerchi. Thanarattrakul bet 75,000 only for Shakerchi to move all-in and force out the Thai.

Davies Doubles Through Holz

Level 14 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

On a heads-up flop of {9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades}, Fedor Holz and Seth Davies invested 39,000 each to see the {6-Spades} on the turn. Holz checked and Davies moved all-in for the last 61,000, which Holz reluctantly called.

Seth Davies: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Fedor Holz: {a-Spades}{3-Clubs}

The bottom pair of Holz had some outs but the {2-Spades} river was not among them, allowing Davies to double.
