Chai Picks off Park; Up to Two Tables

A player under-the-gun open limped and all six other players decided to follow suit so we had a seven-way family pot with the flop coming down .
The under-the-gun player took a stab for 350 and was called by Korea’s Youngee Park, Malaysia’s Kok Cheng Chai and another player on the button so it was four-way to the turn.

The first limper checked, Park decided to take a stab for 1,100 and Chai was the only caller. That was it for the betting and Park ambitiously rolled over for king-high and a missed flush draw meaning Chai’s is good and he gets on the scoreboard early.

Wu, Lo and Zou all played yesterday’s Day 1C and will be hoping that the second time is the charm and they win their Day 2 seats today. Justin Chan is another familiar face who came agonizingly close to making his Day 2 seat on Day 1B before a brutal beat at the hands of Macau’s Sam Cheong saw the Hong Kong player come up short and bubble and we expect Chan to be keen for that not to happen again.
