The 38 remaining Main Event players are on their last scheduled break of the day, with play just two spots off the money bubble when they return.
Jongjun 'Jimmy' Park has just played his last two hands in the Main Event, losing both to bring his tournament to a close.
In the first hand, it was Park who opened the action, with a raise to 11,000 with Alejandria Argyle shoving from late position for 59,000 in total. Park made the call and the two turned over their cards.

Jongjun Park:
The runout came to give Argyle the double and drop Park down to 45,500, which all went in the very next hand with , with Ping Cheong Fung looking up the South Korean player with .
There was no three to be seen on the runout and Park's tournament is now over, while Fung stacked up to 140,000. That brings the feild down to 38 players, one more elimination and play will be hand-for-hand on the bubble.

A sizable pot played out that resulted in the elimination of two players, with Ling He the man wielding the executioner's axe. Preflop it was Germany's Max Menzel who opened the action from middle position, with He making the call from one seat over as well as a player on the button and Tsz Fai Tong from the blinds.
Menzel bet close to pot on the flop, which was close to 34,000, with He making the call, the button folding, Tong shoving and both Menzel and He making the call.
Tsz Fai Tong:
Max Menzel:
Ling He:
All three players had hit a piece of the car crash flop, with He in front with a set of eights, though Tong was drawing live with the nut flush draw. The turn took Tong out of the running, with Menzel needing either an ace or a jack to survive. The river was neither, and He sent both Tong and Menzel to the rail, stacking up to a little over 400,000 in the process.

The 53 remaining Main Event players are off on another 15-minute break.
Running pocket kings into pocket aces is never a fun experience, though fortunately for Jia Tang his opponent in the hand, Henry Hou, was short so it didn't prove overly expensive.
All the chips went in preflop, with Tang opening with a raise and Hou moving all-in from the blinds for close to 80,000, with Tang looking him up extremely quickly.
Jai Tang:
Henry Hou:
Both players hit a set on the flop to add some extra spice, which still kept Hou in the lead, where he remained with the board running out .
Hou stacked up to 175,000 after the hand, and was promptly moved to another table, giving Tang no chance to win any of his chips back, and he dropped to 255,000.

---|---|---|
Jia Tang | 255,000 | 199,400 |
Henry Hou | 175,000 | 127,800 |
The legendary luck of the Irish was not with Mark Gruendemann today, and he has become one of the more recent casualties. Down to around 68,000 or so (around 17 big blinds), Gruendemann found with which to make a stand. Unfortunately, China's Jun Zhu Huang woke up with pocket queens in mid-position and looked him up and there was not an ace to be seen on the runout. Gruendemann headed out of the tournament area, while Huang stack up to 110,000.
